The proximity to JHB made it ideal for a quick getaway. We arrived Saturday morning after breakfast in Parys. The farm is well maintained, so quiet and peaceful, and has a beautiful hike. We were able to bring our little dog (kept an eye on him around the chickens - his first time seeing them) and got fresh eggs daily. We left again on Monday morning at 10, grabbed a takeaway coffee in Parys and were back home and in front of laptops by 12. WiFi was very good. The views were excellent.

The staff were very helpful, courteous and polite. The accommodation was also well spaced out from other accommodation, so it was peaceful.

The place is self-catering. Ideal for a small to large family. Facilities are just ideal - braai area, pool area, animal farm, wild animals, play area, and beautiful views and scenery. Quietness of the night, with just the sounds of wild animals. Industrial-type bathroom and decor. Its Parys, so we expected lots of quirkiness and antique wood!

The food was awesome, we had breakfast both mornings. The staff are very friendly and incredibly accommodating. The staff were on hand to assist with anything we needed and are great to us. They even let us check out a little later, and they were cool about us arriving a little late. Great people.

The friendliness of the staff was super awesome. Attentive, warm and pleasant. My friends and I enjoyed the stay. We felt welcomed.

Absolutely amazing stay!! Angie the manager is fantastic and she goes out of her way to make sure you're comfortable and enjoying yourself , 10/10 experience for her hospitality alone :)
