Pleasant place to stay in central Portugal.It is located in the beautiful garden. The host is friendly and helpful. Parking is on the property. The cottage is spacious and nicely decorated. It has well equipped kitchenette. Windows are screened against the bugs. The bed is comfy. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast served in the garden. Two friendly, well behaved dogs. Relaxing atmosphere.

La Casa do Loureiro si trova ad Arganil. La struttura vanta una vista sulle montagne. Adelina was wonderful! We arrived at the tiny but beautiful village on a cold and rainy day. After snuggling in and heating our little house, Adelina came by and offered to make us supper. She made us a great supper and we enjoyed every minute of her and her husband's company. We used Google translate to our good advantage. Enjoyed the supper she made in the local community building and watched some football with the locals. We were supposed to spend the next night in nearby Piodao but scrapped that for an extra night in Porto due to the cold weather. We did visit Piodao and found it to be overly commercial where as Arganil really seemed like the real deal.
