Very nice staff. The hotel grounds are beautiful - near the river; and good breakfast. When we arrived to Valbona after our hike, the hosts were very kind in picking us up closer to where the hike ends (which would've been another 40min walk to the hotel otherwise).

Vila Alexander is several kilometers away from Valbona which is trying to turn itself into a groovy "scene". Pretty much car dependant, but local shuttles do stop nearby.
