Food in restaurant very good - Austrian with fresh local ingredients such as Zander fish and Mai-Bok venison.Good base from which to explore the Salzkammergut area. Lots of walking / hiking / bike trails. Quiet - not in a town. We had a large recently refurbished room with a large balcony - very comfortable. Easy drive from Salzburg airport.

It was a real pleasure to stay there. The staff was excellent, just like the hotel and the room itself. We have stayed at a studio room with Mum, it was comfortable for the 2 of us, and also super clean. The condition of the room was also perfect. This is just an amazing place. Very clean, comfortable with perfect location both for enjoying the Lake and the Mountains. The breakfast is uncomplicated but sumptuous.
