Everything. This is a wonderful spot for easy family friendly skiing. The staff all around were wonderful and friendly and went out of the way to make the stay comfortable for everyone. The town itself is lovely and a great place to explore the region.

This is the nicest hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. The pools were fantastic. The food was excellent. The fitness room was great,
Located in the scenic village of Ried in Tyrol’s Upper Inn Valley, Gasthof Rieder Stub’n offers free Wi-Fi and a balcony or winter garden in each room.
Located in the center of Fiss, Hotel Bergblick is only a 2297 feet from the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area and offers a modern spa area with a heated outdoor pool.
Remote, so not crowded. Very family friendly, nice little spa, all the necessary amenities. Fabulous nature, nature park.
Amazing Gletcher skiing area - always snow, also in late Spring, fantastic freeride opportunities, not very many, but excellent slopes for intermediate and expert skiers and snowboarders. Limited opportunities for beginners at Gletcher, must go to Fendels for that.

Kaunertal is a great valley, not so crowded as other Austrian glacier valleys probably because of its more difficult access. From the highest point where you can stay for a night you still need to climb around 1000 vertical meters by car (or bus) to reach the ski resort. Ski buses only go once an hour and it takes at least 45 minutes to reach the top because the driver needs to load skis to a box behind the bus at each stop.
The ski resort is not a huge one but you definitely have a lot of great slopes to choose from for both beginners and advanced skiers. We really enjoyed it there and consider it to be one of the best Austrian glaciers.
Sometimes the ski resort or the road to the glacier is closed because of wind or snow but they count with it and sell ski passes that always give you one extra free day (e.g. 3 out of 4 days). On a windy day when the glacier was closed we went to Sefaus-Fiss-Ladis which a huge ski resort just round the corner but much more crowded than Kaunertal Glacier.

Thanks to being relatively close to the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area, it is fairly uncongested. This means short waiting times at lifts and slopes that are relatively empty. The slopes might not be the hardest (the black ones seem rather dark-red) but they are fun.

Kaunertal is one of the winter resorts that I recommend to visit. Skiing at the highest level on the glacier or in the smaller Fendels area. Cross-country skiing in Kaunertal on groomed trails. There is also a local swimming pool for swimming or relaxation. Public transport and the ski bus also work well.

A beautiful and sights full valley located on 29 km from the Kaunertal glacier. The Feggenbach river was just close to the property we choose for our stay. During rainy days or bad weather, it can offer pleasant afternoons in museums and the popular sauna and pools of Quellalpin.
The room was nice, cosy and clean. The food was great, we had the best kaiserschmarrn ever. :-) , the service at restaurant very good. Kids loved Anita from the Kids Club, she was great also at the reception, with useful information in english. The access at Quellealpin was a plus and a good option in the days we didn't ski. The location was good, close to Kaunertal glacier, Fendels-great for kids ski school, even Serfaus Fiss Ladis.
The flat is both comfortable and practical and easily provided space for the four of us.
The location between Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and the Kaunertalgletscher was perfect for skiing and snowboarding if you have a car.
And Jens is a great host, made the check-in and check-out easy, was always available to help us and even gave us recs from his own chickens.
We spend 1 night in this hotel, to continue our journey to Resia the day after. At arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner, who took all the time to explain everything and answer all our questions (dinner plans). The beds were comfortable and good and the room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious (the eggs were made perfectly).
Cozy, clean, reasonably priced, conveniently located midway between two ski resorts – Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis and Kaunertaler Gletscher. I’ve never been too fond of returning to the same place again when it comes to ski holidays, but this one may actually be the exception. Bottom line: Probably one of the best deals that you can get in the area.
Good location, nice hotel stuff, daily room cleaning, daily access to sauna, meals provided by the hotel. It was our third visit and we will come back again. Kaunertal Gletscher is of course our main target. And nice surprise after returning home: email with 20 euro voucher to be cash in Tia Monte Hotel bar ;)
The appartment was perfect for us (2 families). We had 4 rooms and a large kitchen with everything you need, like at home. We could use also the terrace and the garden. The view is spectacular, near the mountains and is really close to Feichten where you have a supermarket and restaurants.
Thank you very much for beautiful stay there..good value for a price, excellent breakfast, dinner, friendly staff. We have visited this beautiful place two times ago and we will come back surely next year. Kaunertal Gletcher is by car 20 min.
Beautiful Hotel in a fantastic location, with comfortable bed and large Balcony.
Good and professional service.
Dinner was tasty and the the breakfast buffet was fantastic.
All in all a nice experience.
Perfect location for hiking lovers as it is connected directly to many trails. We were totally impressed by Kaunertal valley, breath-taking views, glaciar and beautiful lake.
Location is great - short walking distance from amenities in Feichten centre, but a bit out of town, calm and silent. Very good for non-partying family with kids.
Wonderful family hotel, excellent breakfast, large spacious spa area with saunas. Attentive hosts. Great atmosphere of the town surrounded by mountains.
The flat is very comfortable and clean, the kitchens is furnished. Nice view from the terraces. It's perfect to do hiking in the mountains in Kaunertal.
