As one of us is a caeliac, we thought it safer to take our own breakfast.
The outdoor deck with comfy seats was great for the warm weather.
Loved the bush setting and native garden.

I had the most amazing experience staying at this spacious Yurt. The little extras (eggs, breakfast muffins and marshmallows) they included were such a pleasant surprise. The fireplace added a cozy touch, perfect for the chilly evenings. The location was easy to get to and the view was incredible, especially during sunrise and sunset. It was quiet, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. I would highly recommend this Yurt to anyone looking for a memorable experience. You won't be disappointed.

Location away from noisy part of town
Good ambience, good set up. General look a bit tatty but the idea of using old and mismatched furniture works and gives the place its charm

It's in a great location with easy access to lots of activities. We stayed in a villa and there was plenty of room for the both of us plus the advantage of having a bedroom so as not to disturb the late sleeper. Hot shower with good pressure, comfortable bed with the beach just across the street. We saw white wallabies less than a km down the road from here. We stayed 2 nights but wished we would've stayed more. Its a short drive to where they conduct boat tours from and the Mavista rainforest walk was beautiful with great looks at Pink Robin. Its a short drive to the chocolate shop and to The Neck for penguin and shearwater viewing in the evening.

Bruny island is just beautiful.
Bruny island is just beautiful. I spent 3 nights at Adventure Bay and loved it. There is the Fluted Cape walk which I recommend.
The General Store (it's the only one on the island) is well supplied with all necessities and some luxuries.
I recommend exploring the island and visiting the Honey store and Inala Jurassic Park.
Drive slowly, too many tourists drive far too fast and as a result there is too much roadkill mainly pademelons. Pademelons are sweet, slow small wallabies, they don't deserve to die. Take your time and enjoy the experience.

Beautiful place to base yourself when exploring Bruny Island...
Beautiful place to base yourself when exploring Bruny Island. Central to many key activities and facilities. A beautiful outlook across the bay towards the Tasman Peninsula.
Key essentials like groceries and petrol available. Also near the Pennicott boat cruise restaurant and other places to eat out. Pennicott boat trip is a must.
We also drove to the Bruny Hotel, which is less than 20 minutes away, for meals.
Fluted Cape walk was well signposted once we found the start. Other short walks and lookouts nearby.
White wallabies.

The house was very comfortable with all kitchen equipment you could ever need. Lots of seating areas with wonderful views over the bay.
Very comfortable bed
Extremely quiet.
TV control was only glitch - too complicated. Couldn’t work out how to download Netflix from my phone to watch on TV screen .
Highly recommend the Bruny Hotel at Allonah for a meal. Recommend you book.
The boat trip was excellent . As was the sunset tour of the lighthouse . Both can be booked online.

We enjoyed the area; beach and cliff walks, wildlife and history. An excellent restaurant, served a good variety of lunchtime meals. The fish served is locally caught and cooked the following day. The restaurant is operated by a cruise company - day cruises along the adjacent coastline, sadly we did not have time for the cruise this visit.
An excellent local museum gives much of the historical background to the area and the early explorers.
Lovely property with the yurt set in amongst an olive grove with sweet little wrens and robins flying about and wallabies munching on the grass in the eventing outside of the yurt. The yurt itself was very well set up and the hospitality was wonderful with eggs, muesli, marshmallows and coffee/tea provided and a little kitchen and fridge attached to the yurt. Lovely bathroom and the rain shower is to die for!! The location is great, being a few minutes drive to the main town of Adventure Bay, where the white wallabies are located.
The location was very peaceful and shared with abundant wildlife in the surrounding gardens.
Enjoyed watching the birds and wildlife including the white wallabies that visited the surrounds.
It's very quiet and private yet within easy reach of Adventure Bay.
Very comfortable beds and enjoyed the views out of every room. The kitchen had with everything we needed.
The folder in the studio provided lots of useful information about walks etc on the island.
Good communication regarding checking in and directions to the studio.
- Location (right in the heart of Adventure Bay) and secluded from other neighboring properties.
- Waking up to wild wallabies roaming around the property. Amazing!
- Perfect size for families.
- Clean and tidy, with modern furniture and fittings.
- Cones with all necessary amenities including board games, DVDs, coffee machine, hairdryer etc.
- The awesome fireplace! there was even extra chopped up wood outside.
This is a fantastic property, well equipped and well appointed with quality throughout.
Fantastic location on Adventure Bay Bruny Island.
Prompt and helpful communication from the owners.
This is a sizeable property with two separate lounge areas two bathrooms and three bedrooms.
Perfect for families or for couples on their own.
We loved our stay and will definitely be back thank you very much Yolla.
we loved the property, the location was great with proximity to the beach and grocery store, the cleanliness, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, peaceful and a beautiful yard. The property host was very responsive and nice, and a very nice gesture to leave for us a bottle of Tasmanian sparkling wine! thank you.
Awesome location right across the road from the beach in Adventure Bay. The property itself is huge, with a cozy one bedroom unit with a great comfy bed. It has everything you need for a self catered stay but you need to make sure you bring your food and drinks as there are not a lot of options in Adventure Bay.
The onsite Cabins were clean comfortable, warm and very well setup with all appliances that a family would need for self catered holiday. Adventure Bay is an idyllic location in one of the more beautiful places in Tasmania's Bruny Island.
A very convenient location for the Adventure Bay area of Bruny Island. The cabin was well equipped and had all the facilities we needed. It is in a very rural coastal area so it was good to have most conveniences on the doorstep.
Everything went well. The bed and a doona were fantastic. Everything was very clean. They had all the cooking utensils needed. We loved roaming the property and seeing birds. The distance from the beach was very convenient for us.
The location was fantastic with the beach just over the road. The nights were cold but there was adequate heating. The electric blankets were much appreciated. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen very well equipped
A great compact place to stay for a holiday . The place is exactly as it's described. A shack with good facilities and very close to the beach in Adventure Bay. The house was warm and the heating was amazing.
Everything about 970 Adventure Bay Road was wonderful. The pictures don’t do justice to the stunning views. It’s in a perfect location being in Adventure Bay, but still feels private and peaceful.
The location was amazing it had easy access to everything on both north and south Bruny Island and it is not difficult to find. What was offered for breakfast was simple but plentiful.
An excellent place, the best accommodation during our Tassie holiday, unanimous from all.
We would love to return to this place in the future.
Kudos to Sarah and her Team
Location fantastic. Stunning beach over the road.. So relaxing. Can hear waves crashing in the quiet of the night. Comfortable beds. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Great hosts.
Highly recommend this property. So secluded and relaxing. Lots of wildlife, very child friendly all ages. We had a wonderful family holiday in The Lodge. The Swing 🥰
