Beautiful heritage real estate, a lovely Central Park and Mount panorama. Shopping opportunities are limited as are eateries after 5 pm. Easy to walk around and park - lovely wide streets built for horse and carriages. A lovely regional art gallery and Doppio Bathurst is a great spot to grab a coffee on route from the train station to town. Al Denté is a great cafe in town for wholesome options for breakfast and lunch - opens very early and you can read the local rag.

I was at Bathurst for work.
I was at Bathurst for work. The view I had from my hotel room was the famous Bathurst racing track. which was lovely to look out on too.
I didn't get much time to explore and would like to visit again so I can take in more of the charming old town. People were very friendly, and everything was pretty close by, I ate at the George Pub as the food was so lovely, and The Ridges wasn't serving dinner on the Sunday and Monday nights I was staying.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Bathurst, and I will also visit again and hopefully will get to stay longer.

Have passed through Bathurst many times and this was the first time we stayed.
Has awesome parks and walking tracks. Felt very safe walking around town late on a Friday night. Lots of old buildings with excellent descriptions of their history.
Ice-cream shop was packed and doing a roaring trade. Yummo.
Found a coffee shop open at 6am on a Saturday morning and coffee was sensational.
Driving the track is always a highlight as well.
Next time will be staying several days.

Lots to see and do. Just being there was nice.
Lots to see and do. Just being there was nice. The Motor Museum, the race track obviously but just the lovely streets and beautiful old buildings. Abercrombie house was a highlight too.
The only thing was the huge central park was closed due to the 'possibility' of falling branches from bats. It was over kill. Nanny state philosophy. Very disappointing by local council.
Otherwise would have loved to stay longer than 3 days.
We loved our stay at the Rydges Mount Panorama Bathurst. It was the perfect way to end our trip on the way home. The staff were amazing. We were lucky enough to have an upgrade. The beds were so soft, and the kids slept through without complaint. The view was amazing. The bathrooms were lovely. I visited the gym which was well equipped and had a lovely view of the outdoor pool and spa. We also treated ourselves to breakfast at the restaurant which was delicious. The kids especially enjoyed watching the automated pancake maker.
The hotel was in the centre of the CBD and everything was walkable. Free carparking was provided at the back of the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price included a free, nice, cooked breakfast. The room was spacious, the bed comfortable and the wifi was great. The room lighting was excellent. Tea and coffee was provided and included some biscuits including a gluten free one. There is a lift to the rooms.
Dinner is available at an additional cost.
We recommend the hotel.
We had an extremely lovely stay. Would highly recommend. The cabins are brand new and beautifully appointed. The bathroom is absolutely stunning. Bonus of two outdoor baths which created an fantastic experience of outdoor bathing under the stars. Lots of thoughtful moments provided like the BBQ breakfast including fresh bread, bacon and eggs. Very considered furnishing and linen, such a memorable and unique mini break away. Bonus very friendly horse at the entry of the property.
Our stay at the Victoria was very comfortable. The welcome was super friendly, and as it was a cold night it was lovely that the staff had already turned on the heating in our room. The hotel has a great location in the historic centre of Bathurst. The room itself was very spacious and had very good amenities. We enjoyed dinner in the hotel restaurant downstairs, which has great options including vegetarian dishes plus excellent wines from the local region. The wifi worked well.
We stayed in the budget room with a queen and single bed as no other rooms were available due to being fully booked for the Bathurst 12hr race meeting.
The room was old, but clean and certainly met our needs.
The pub/bistro on the premises exceeded my expectations, decent pub menu with excellent value and good quality meals.
We had dinner and breakfast on 2 occasions and would definitely recommend.
Excellent location right in the town centre.
The restaurant and breakfast buffet were fabulous. Highly recommend and worth the stay in themselves. Every staff member we came across (there was three of us across three rooms), was friendly and helpful. They actually seemed pleased to be working there. The linen and room was lovely. The only bug was noise travelling at night due to the design of the hotel rooms.
Everything was clean and well cared for. Will definitely return when in Bathurst.
What we saw in the photo online was what we got. A small, twin room with a table and 1 chair and shared facilities. The room had an air-conditioner and a tv There was a small fridge and kettle and cutlery and cups in an alcove. The pub downstairs was noisy at times but the rooms were well insulated from the sound. The food at the pub was excellent and the parking at the back worked well for us. All in all great value for money.
We had the misfortune of having no hot water about 8.30pm, managers came straight down, and could not fix the problem they had no other rooms left to put us in. He shifted us to another hotel 5 mins away, met us there, directed us to our room. Went way beong his duty, lovely owners with a lot of pride in there hotels and excellent customer service.. Highly recommend. Nice n clean, comfy bed, beautiful linen
Spacious modern layout with 2 separate and very large bedrooms with comfortable beds.
Well appointed kitchen.
Outdoor area for breakfast or afternoon tea.
Just 2-3 minutes from local pubs and restaurants.
Quiet area with ample street parking.
Ease of check in and check out process.
The location was perfect, close to all shops and a walk distance to the centre of the town. The place is quiet and clean and Damien the front dest personnel was very accomodating. We will definitely stay at the Bathurst motor inn again.
Good value and the self-contained facilities for longer stays and transient workers are great. More a private hostel then hotel, looks like most folks were there for work in the area and the facilities cater well to that crowd.
Great location, friendly staff, spacious room, airconditioned
Highly recommend staying here if visiting Bathurst, it's a really modern, nice place with plenty of parking, spacious room, air conditioning
Good location and bed/heating and room layout all very good. Older style hotel layout and good size room. Close to Mount Panorama and good pubs within walking distance. Good parking.
