Set on a beautiful vineyard, our villa was spacious and comfortable. Rooms were a great size and the large spa was perfect after a day at the wineries.

The property was beautiful, nice and quiet.
At night you could just sit and watch the stars. It was very tranquil.

Easy to get to places, about a 20 minute drive for going out to places, but loved the remoteness and the quiet. We went for dinner at the Hunter Valley (Roche Estate) and it was a lovely meal. Close to Hunter Valley gardens, chocolate and cheese shop etc.

Lovely wine region.
Lovely wine region. When driving from Sydney, go via Cessnock for an easier and smoother drive( especially if you have passengers who get travel sickness) . If you want scenery, deep forested gullies and windy roads take the 33 tourist road.
Cafe in broke called The Garage ( on road to Cessnock)was great for coffee, croissant and bagel style breakfast. Mount Broke vineyard has a great pizza night every Friday.
Adam’s Peak was a beautiful venue for a wedding.
Our self- catering accommodation at Nightingale Vineyard had beautiful scenery and was very comfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Starline Alpacas Farm Resort.
We really enjoyed our stay at Starline Alpacas Farm Resort. The place is peaceful and cozy. The rooms are clean and self contained, complete amenities. We adored their Alpacas so much. They are so cute, lovely and docile. The Staff too are friendly and accomodating. The view is stunning, overlooking the mountains. The only thing i did not like is the pool, it could be more cleaner and better. But not a big deal. Good thing they got a tennis court and raquets to use for free. All in all the experience was fantastic! We will be back here for sure. Thank you Starline Alpacas Farm Resort.

Broke Village has little to offer in amenities or food...
Broke Village has little to offer in amenities or food outlets but is a good geographical location for surroundind wineries & wedding venues (we chose it to attend a wedding). Had to travel over 20kms to Singleton to buy groceries (only facility in Broke had limited necessities at exorbitant prices).
The location was beautiful. Quiet, and out of the way of town. The scenery from huge back deck was out of this world.
We did a 'Little bit of Broke' festival, and had pre purchased shuttle bus. so the only downfall was it was a long way from hub of town to catch the shuttle bus.
The complimentary wine from Lavender Ridge estate was a generous offer, and enjoyed!
The room was huge, very comfortable lounge area.
The sounds and sights of nature at sunrise with morning coffee. The updated interiors and bathroom. Reasonable kitchen setup for basic meal preps. Separate dining and TV sitting areas. Good size fridge. Between 10 minutes to 35 minutes travel to reach most Hunter Valley cellar doors and restaurants.
The location is the key asset - so peaceful, so relaxing, so quiet. Small but has everything needed for a short break. Toilet and shower as if in a hotel. Clean and tidy. Bonus is it's only a few minutes away from one of my top Hunter restaurants. Would happily return.
We were there when Broke flooded and chaos ensued including the road in and out being destroyed. Quentin and his family were amazing in keeping us informed and ensuring we were able to get out asap. They were also great with helping the kids feel safe.
A very neat and well-appointed cottage located in the quiet town of Broke and not far from the main vineyard area of the Hunter Valley. The house was fresh, clean, and ready to be occupied with a minimum of fuss.
Gorgeous location over looking the vineyard, not far from the little town of Broke. Room was nice and comfortable, and roomy. The staff were incredibly helpful and so nice.
Location was good for Hunter access. Rustic atmosphere. Log fire (slow-combustion stove) Pleasant garden surrounds. Lots of birds. Generally quiet most of time
