Fantastic place if you like wildlife. Right in the heart of the rainforest we watched birds on the balcony eating chopped fruit, sugar gliders eating tree sap in the night viewing area and saw and heard various animals. Very comfortable and tranquil place.

We stayed five nights and were superbly looked after by the private owners and all staff. Very conveniently located and fantastic friendly service. Within walking distance of almost everything but quiet. Thoroughly recommend it if looking for a base to explore the Tableland.

I liked the meal and wine at the pub and the walk along the old railway line the next morning. If you're a rail trail fan you can ride all the way to Herberton (although it's a bit rough in places) and all the way to the next big town in the other direction.

The Motel is on a hill with a pleasant outlook and easy access. There is a Chinese Restaurant (which is excellent) right at the end of the Motel. The rooms are large and the kitchen facilities are great.

Atherton is beautiful full of history.
Atherton is beautiful full of history. Atherton is a great place to base yourself to see the surrounding areas from. We found out after we had booked for only 2 days that most of the small towns around the area are only like 30-45 mins away bit sad we didnt stay longer. We could of stayed a week so we could of seen more. The lady and gentlemen from the Historical Society are so full of information about the area and surrounds it was amazing. Would highly recommend a visit to the Historical Society first when here to learn about the area the plan your visit. As it was this lady that told me about a little town called Irvinebank which We did visit.
The Summit B&B is located in a very quiet part of Atherton within a beautifully maintained rainforest garden that is home to many birds and other native wildlife. It was pleasant having a coffee in the morning and observing them.
There's a well equipped kitchen and a BBQ. We had our grandchildren over for dinner and a swim. It was a great place for them to visit us while we were in town. The living room has very comfortable arm chairs for relaxing and watching a movie.
Robert was so proactive in making sure everything was exactly as we needed.
Robert has made a brilliant destination to use as a base to drive around all the Tablelands has to offer.
We enjoyed a few days letting us catch up with friends without stress or any concerns.

A great house, with everything we wanted, plus lots more. Lots of room, everything wanted in the kitchen, good dishwasher. Good washing machine and clothes dryer.
Good location in Atherton for exploring the Atherton Tablelands. Not too far to other places, in any direction.
Close to the shops, and for eating out.
This was our second time staying at Lilly Pilly House, and we hope to return again. We had a wonderful week.
Incredible!! Absolutely can’t fault this place. Friendly, helpful staff! Beautiful clean common areas & cabins. Food trucks or live music every night of our stay. Most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Beautiful grounds. I never leave reviews but this place deserves the credit!! 10/10.
The house is spacious and beautifully furnished with a lot of attention to detail and everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was very clean and the house has a big garden. The location is perfect for exploring the Tablelands!
We booked the hotel at last minute, expected a bit of a mining camp but was pleasantly surprised.
Good bed, and very clean, smelled nice. The staff were so lovely. Really enjoyed our stay
The location is central on the Tablelands and the staff are super friendly. The family room exceeded our expectations and now wished we stayed a few extra days to really relax.
