The receptionist had a very hospitable manner and was able to answer all our questions about the surrounding area, recommending places to eat. The bed was very comfortable, the room clean and very spacious. The balcony had a nice view and we had drinks there, watching a nice rainbow above the hills, in the distance.

The food and drinks that we ordered were served to our satisfaction.
But the room and utilities did not meet my expectations as they look old and rundown. I honestly believed that our booking was totally overpriced.
Thank goodness to the beautiful beaches surrounding Coffs Harbour, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

The accommodation was absolutely filthy.
The accommodation was absolutely filthy. The room was smelly as soon as we opened the door. There was dust on the furniture which had been written on. ie. we were here!! The bed was filthy. There was no carpet on the floor. The balcony had wood rot and could be very dangerous. From car to steps leading to room was very dangerous and had not been cleaned up for use by people staying in the motel. I will never stay in Coffs Harbour again. It was $267 per night as there was a Football Carnival on and we had no idea this would fill all the motels in Coffs Harbour. One hotel was charging $500 per night and it was right on the highway. Never, ever stop at the Big Banana Accommodation. Unfortunately my husband is 81 and we felt we could not drive to the next town. Next time it will be worth sleeping on the side of the road in our car. That's how bad the accommodation was.

Only visited due to sporting activity.
Only visited due to sporting activity.
Old, expensive, boring.
Would never return unless I had to.
Found a nice restaurant down on Coffs Harbour Jetty for dinner, that seemed classier enough to accomodate our needs.

Coffs Harbour is a nice town to holiday in with good beaches and trips into the mountains within easy reach. There are good cafes in the small shopping centre near the Jetty. There is a good variety of shops, with most of the brand names represented. Great for lovers of seafood.
We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. The room is spacious, the kitchen had some minimum accessories to prepare simple meals. The facilities in the resort are good, our daughter particularly enjoyed the pool.
The location of the resort is also good, short drive distance from main attractions and right next to the Big Banana - a must visit in Coffs Harbour.
Room was clean, neat and spacious. Plenty of room for a family of 4 and luggage. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom appeared renovated and provided shower gel and shampoo is the shower stall. Water pressure was good. We stayed at another motel on our way back to QLD and between the two motels, I would definitely stay at the BW Zebra again when in Coffs Harbour.
The pictures where no where near straight, the spa bath was dirty, the bed sunk in when u laid or sat on it, there where men outside with a truck yelling at 1:30 am, the floor had not been vacuumed. we had to cancel our reservation at beach haven and find a last minute Airbnb because there was just no effort at all put into the hotel room.
Freshly renovated, still has that freshly painted smell. The bathrooms are brand new, the bedroom is freshly carpeted, painted, new bed, good linen. It's also surprisingly quiet given that the hotel is right on the Pacific Highway in the middle of town. It's good value for money but I can't see it staying as cheap as it currently is
This is actually an airbnb, an old apartment that has been done up. It was nice to have two bedrooms. Could be a nice place with if airconditioned and the fact it is an airbnb in a built up area of town put on the booking.com ad. Full disclosure stops guests who need other faciilities from booking and giving bad reviews.
Great location near the Coffs Harbour Jetty with plenty of nice restaurants and the Pier Hotel right across the road. Owners Ramona and Bruce are delightful people and all rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard.
Very comfortable and pleasant stay.
Resort is lovely to walk around its well maintained.
It's a great location to Coffs harbour shopping centre and the beach.
Room was nice and bed very comfy. Lovely view from balcony lots of birds.
It was part of a bigger resort i.e. there were multiple properties and a golf course around. The location was excellent. There was a pool that kids enjoyed a lot. Its best value of the money.
Staffs are nice. Very good location. Very cheap compared to others. Room services every day like the bins changed, fridge refilled, towel changed. Good pool for kids.
Bed was very comfortable. The gardens surrounding the resort are lovely. Dinner at the restaurant was good and sitting outside overlooking the lagoon was a bonus.
Pet friendly, great self contained cabins , easy location when on a road trip , very friendly and helpful reception on the phone as we arrived after hours .
