Nightcap at Rose & Crown Hotel, hotel in Elizabeth

Featuring a bar and a children’s playground, Nightcap at Rose & Crown Hotel offers accommodations in Elizabeth. Guests enjoy unlimited free WiFi.

The rooms need to have a towel rail to hang wet towels. Also a second chair would have been useful, sitting on the bed trying to eat is not good. I realise that often these rooms are occupied by one person, but since they can accommodate 2, 2 chairs useful. Re towel rail, given the rooms are small this could be done by puting a rail on the room door. We liked the fact you could fill the kettle from the sink, surprisingly we stayed in another hotel called the Rose in WA on the way home, beautiful kettle but you couldn't fill it, it was too tall for the sink. Considering we were from interstate and I have some serious dietry constraints we were disappointed about the food. It appeared on the website that food was available. I realise your problem but dont recommend Domminos again its awful. But certainly recommend the Chinese restaurant its great (even though it looks suspicious) and they know their food allegies and are wonderful. If I had known this the first time I would have gone there. The problem with Chinese food for Gluten intolerance can be the soy sauce, but they understood that. I grew up in Elizabeth 35 years ago and Elizabeth High School was my school. My Mum worked at the school so I know that the Rose and Crown was the staff's local and went to several celebrations there on end of year staff parties. Therefore I am aware of its history. It was good to see its still there, but sad to see this wonderful venue decreased essentially to a Poker machine venue. Interestingly the Rose Hotel in Bunbury where we stayed on our homeward leg is also in a regional city, although established a bit earlier than you its size of venue is comparible. They offer some cool deals for guests and local patrons re food, even a complimentary drink like you, so check it out. The size of your establishement is copious and could well handle more people. I know Elizabeth is not well endowed but I grew up there and it would be good to see your pub thrive again.

Comfort Inn & Suites Sombrero, hotel in Elizabeth

Offering a covered outdoor swimming pool and spacious accommodations with comp WiFi per day, the Comfort Inn and Suites Sombrero is located in Prospect, 4 mi from the center of Adelaide.

The service by the staff was great, they bent over backwards to ensure we were happy after I complained about the quality of our original townhouse booking. They offered us two alternative options on site, gave us time to consider and checked in with us after we moved rooms. I can’t fault that at all. Thank you! Hint for housekeeping staff though, please check and replace the dishwashing liquid and liquid bath wash daily.

The only disappointing thing was all the steps as we were only staying one night on our way through Adelaide, so therefor found it very hard getting up and down the narrow steps with luggage etc. We ate in the hotel itself, and had a great feed. Fairly easy to get around, but would have got lost without the sat nav.

A short walk to a shabby shop complex, run down untidy homes, however Elizabeth main shopping centre was very good,we felt we would not be safe to leave our accomodation at night and worried about our car in car park which was open to the street although we were told they had security cameras.

Room was very clean and nearly renovated and decorated.

Room was very clean and nearly renovated and decorated. Meal at the restaurant were cheap. Shower was very hot. Room was serviced every day. Complementary water given everyday. The bed needed coasters as it moved when you laid on it. Vanity was in the room as bathroom was very small. No shelves or space on vanity for toiletries. The room (3) had the complex air conditioners just outside its windows and were very noisy, it made it very difficult to sleep at night and could not have the window open for fresh air. Rooms on the other side of the complex would have been better. Meals in the restaurant were average but as they were half price could not complain.
