You couldn't really ask for a better location. There's something about Freo that just makes you buzz. Staff were helpful, requested a late check-out as arrived in the evening, $30 for 1pm late checkout, was perfect. Rooms are smicko, breakfast downstairs was great also. Only regret we couldn't stay longer.,

Fremantle is a very walkable place. It's mostly flat and most things are within a 1 -2 km walk. We did not have a car and did not miss it. High Street is the place for cafes and shops. Bathers beach is great for restaurants and sunsets.
The pace in Fremantle is slow, which suited us. We had a wonderful 4 days here and would recommend Fremantle to anyone wanting to experience the friendliness of Western Australia and enjoy that small town feel.
Fremantle Markets is also brilliant.

It’s a nice historical place where it’s also convenient to board the ferry to Rottnest Island .
The Foods & Beverage scene is very vibrant , not just within Fremantle but also the neighbouring areas like Cottesloe .

Fremantle has a warm, nostalgic place in my heart but over the years it has become decidedly tatty. Yes, it has history to offer but the general atmosphere in the town is one of cafés, eateries and non-descript shops offering uninteresting souveniers.
The Fremantle town council is badly in need of a strategy to create a town that serves the broader community beyond a place to drink coffee any time in the week

Freemantle is a wonderful old town, which has retained its culture. We really enjoyed visiting the Round House (a former jail), for the info about it and the views!!!!!!
Also so easy to get to the port to go to Rottnest Island. The Quest is a 2 min walk from tbere, making it so accessible
We needed a place to stop, park and sleep for the night out of Perth. Maand Up was well located in Fremantle, fairly priced (but all accommodation is quite pricey in the area) and offered parking. On enquiry, the off street parking was limited, but we were advised parking was easy in the street and for us it was. We were late to arrive and found the directions to our room, sent both by sms and email, were clear and easy to follow. However, the stairs up to the first floor were quite dark for taking our luggage up at night.
The location is great, right in the heart of Fremantle, and the staff are friendly. The hotel fits with the personality of Fremantle, partly built with shipping containers and other part heritage limestone building. If you are planning to drive reserve parking at the hotel when you book. The breakfast (tea and toast) is enough to get you going in the morning but if you are after something more substantial you are spoilt for choice with many great brunch spots within a 5 minutes walking distance.
Charming queen bedroom with ensuite. The beautifully renovated hotel is very tastefully decorated. There was access to a lovely balcony where we could sit in the sun and see an interesting street view. The breakfast room could be accessed throughout the day and was well stocked with cereals, tea and coffee, and sweet biscuits for morning tea. A very convenient location close to the historic centre of Fremantle within walking distance to cafes and restaurants.
The Endeavour Room was a lovely big room with access to a verandah that overlooked the back garden, which was beautiful and cool on a summer afternoon in Fremantle. Just a beautiful way to cool down after a busy day. The room is beautifully furnished with antique reproductions. Even has a reproduction of Sir Joseph Banks' desks that was on the Endeavour. Very tastefully setup with all the amenities found in a normal 4-star hotel.
I was very impressed with the standard of our room, clean bathroom with hairdryer, TV, fully equipped mini kitchen with kettle and tea and coffee supplied.
The bed was divine and very comfortable.
Beautiful outdoor area for hotel guests overlooking the Swan River.
I can thoroughly recommend the Tradewinds for a lovely holiday accomodation close to our famous Fremantle precinct.
Nothing really wrong with the place, your typical b&b, charming, great location close to town and ferry terminal. Friendly service from the staff. The price however is out of range for the value, 2x than a business hotel and comparable to a 5 stars hotel in Perth, but with basic B&B facilities and services.
The building is beautiful. Suzanne (manager) was so kind, friendly and helpful. Great to have a chat with. Delicious breakfast. Fantastic decor and styling. Love the old meets the new vibe. Great location in Fremantle to station, wharf and main attractions of the city. Highly recommend.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Warders Hotel. the staff were so friendly, and the rooms are absolutely beautiful! The location can’t be beaten for a little getaway to Fremantle. We would highly recommend Warders Hotel, and look forward to staying there again!
Location is incredible ,short walk to shops, resturants, cafes ,ferry terminal and train station are also so close to the hotel.
This was the ultimate base for a great few days to explore Fremantle.
Facilities in the room are great.
Great location, so close to all restaurants, ferries and park in Freemantle. Large hotel with restaurant and bar. Paid parking across the road which was discounted for guests. Friendly staff and great Fish Tacos.
Well appointed 3 bedroom apartment with 2 full bathrooms and a separate toilet; quiet location. 10 min walk to the heart of Fremantle. 5 min walk to Perth Markets. Friendly staff; able to store luggage.
Great location, fabulous staff and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Fremantle. Nothing was too difficult for the manager, Marco.
Modern, clean and tidy room, and lots of character in the heritage building!
Walking distance to Fremantle beach and museums (but a bit of a sweat in the heat!)
Beautifully positioned with private parking, converted heritage building with the classic Fremantle feel and comfortable generous rooms. What's not to like?
