Love the countryside, particularly the beautiful shades of colours. The Standing Stones are an exceptional tourist attraction. I also love going to the Crofter's Cottage and the Strawberry Patch.

The external appearance looks dated, but the rooms themselves were clean and tidy and the bed was comfortable. A microwave would have been handy. Reception was open till late, as opposed to the 5pm closing time on booking.com. Nothing flash, but good value for money .Good for a short stay.

Town has a lovely unpretentious gracious feel, beautiful old buildings and stately homes, friendly staff in shops, great pizza and a great fish and chips/takeaway in the main street. Friendly locals who smile and say hello!

Glen Innes is a very interesting town.
Glen Innes is a very interesting town. The information shop was extremely good.A visit to the Granite stones on the hill is well worth a visit. We spent
some time up there. The town is also interesting, with the variety of shops .and buildings.

The town is great and the locals are as well.
The town is great and the locals are as well. The motel is tired and our room lacked maintenance but was clean. We had issues with the shower getting the temperature correct (never) the A/C rattled the windows consistently, the noisy and dirty extraction fan and also missing a cover, the TV remote didn’t work and I couldn’t be bothered trying to get new batteries for it or reporting it. The electric blanket on the LH side worked but only on three, so you cooked. Eating out in town there was plenty of places. I will be more diligent with the ratings for future stays! 7.3 is too high.
Really central location in Glen Innes, a few mins walk to Coles or Woolies as well as to other shops. The apartments face a really lovely park, and it is very peaceful and quiet. The apartments were cosy and very clean. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Towels, and the usual toiletries you'd get in a hotel is also provided. I was pleasantly surprised that a complimentary bottle of wine was provided in each of the apartments (I booked three apartments for three families). It was a really pleasant stay.
This was our 2nd stay at The Bank Guesthouse in Glen Innes and the improvements since our previous stay in 2019 were evident. From the friendly welcome through to the farewell everything was as it should be and Phil and his wife are great hosts. The rooms and lounge upstairs are warm and cosy with reverse cycle aircon and/or electric heating. Very comfortable bed and our own bathroom this time. A cooked breakkie was included and was very adequate. We will be back again one day I'm sure
Sapphire Cottage proved a great location for our stay in Glen Innes. Spacious, bright and airy with all you’d need for self-catering. Close to town with a relaxing outdoor area. Loved the wood burning stove and the roses in the large garden. Definitely a decided cut above all those bland country motels. We came to participate in The Goodness Gravel cycling event and will be hoping to stay at Sapphire Cottage again next year.
This is a pleasant motel for an overnight stop on the road. It is clean and comfortable with good sized rooms. The location is great as there is a back gate which allows access to the main street of Glen Innes, which gets very quiet at night although there is a great pub to eat just down the road - try the Pipe and Drums if you get the chance. Food is good and staff are super friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was delicious...a home cooked hot breakfast of eggs, bacon, tomatoes, hash browns, toast, juice and tea/coffee. It was served in a lovely cosy dining room by an open log fire. The host was very friendly and informative...joined us for a chat and showed us through photographic history books of Glen Innes.
The motel room was quite spacious and had enough room for us two and our two little dogs. The room was clean and quiet. The sheets were nice and soft. And the level of warm/coolness in the room was ideal for us.
We have stayed in other pet motels and this is one of the better ones.
Is in a quite location, & an easy walk to the main street. The room is clean & tidy, has bunk beds which are a bonus and the main bed is comfortable. These units are good value for money and the staff are extremely friendly.
Will stay again when next passing through Glen Innes.
Motel is on main highway into Glen Innes from Tamworth but a little way from CBD and food outlets. Affordable and clean but you get what you pay for. We were looking for a relatively cheap and clean room and shower for a one-night stay.
Room was spacious, bed comfortable and extremely clean facilities. Parking at the door.
Free continental breakfast. Will stay again when in the area and will certainly recommend.
Friendly staff
Perfect central location with pub and cafes on street below. Apartment was lovely and clean as well as spacious with all the amenities. would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Glen Innes.
Absolute value for money, nicely updated, continental breakfast included. Being able to back into the covered parking space meant we could unload the car in the dry.
The accommodation is a lovely old hotel in the centre of town. The staff members were very helpful and the comfortable room and veranda area were appreciated.
Hotel is an honest 3 star. Very clean and newly updated. Continental breakfast was more than adequate. This is our 3rd stay here and it won't be the last.
Staff polite and friendly . compared to our to previous stays in Brisbane hotel overall this was a awesome place to stay will be back for future events
