Unfortunately Halls Creek is suffering from lack of inspiration! Information Centre not open so no information of the area, it is run down and needs a good lot of help from the WA govt to encourage tourism ... There is a lot to see and the history is amazing. Roads are very poor to the sights people wish to see and explore. Indigenous population friendly and I'm sure with a little encouragement & support many would be able to find employment without the constant "put down" there seems to be!
We stopped for one night on he way from Broome to Kununurra as there aren’t many hotels on the way, but found this rather overpriced for the dated room that we got.
The bed was comfortable and the room had a small fridge, which we found handy.
the food at the sports bar was surprisibgly good

Having dinner in the sports bar was very relaxing with a good atmosphere.
Safety and security was their number 1 priority I would stay again and recommend you give it a try
Sercurity was great, meals good and staff very friendly. Near some fantastic sights to see: China Wall; Palm Springs (natural warm water spring you can swim in); old Halls Creek Town Site ruins; and Saw Pit Gorge.
The hotel was so clean considering the age of the property. Similarly the pool area and restaurant were pristine. The manager was exceptionally friendly and certainly is well liked by the staff and the guests.
So much space in the whole complex. Our meal at the Sports Bar was amazing. Locked gates provided a degree of security. Room was very clean. Highly recommend this as a great place to stay in Halls Creek.
Simple room but clean neat and comfortable with good shower. Russian Jacks restaurant on site was excellent. We were pleasantly surprised as had heard negative things about Halls Creek.
Excellent place to stay, friendly staff,fantastic food. Clean and comfortable rooms. Secure parking.
An oasis in the vast top end. Couldn't fault this hotel, a credit to all staff.
My second overnight stay and could not fault the reception staff ( friendly and helpful) the meals are great. Will definitely recommend this hotel to friends.
