Wonderful balance between opulence and 'at-home' comfort. Bronnie, Neil and their property make you feel like you are away somewhere special while at the same time that you arrived somewhere you've been a million times before with friends you've known forever.

The Yarra Gables is a motel, so there's no bells and whistles - just a very nice stop on the way. I stopped here spontaneously when passing through Healesville.
Ralph at the reception was super nice, and pointed out some places to try while I was there.
The room was large, comfortable and extremely clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower and bathroom were great. All in all, a great stay.
Brooklands Apartments is located 328 feet from Healesville Main Street. Both apartments have open plan living/dining/kitchenette area and a deck with mountain views.

One of the larger townships in the Yarra Valley.
One of the larger townships in the Yarra Valley. A great spot to base your travels from - so quick and close to places like Warburton and Yarra Glen. Some of the tourist information specific to Healesville are a bit outdated (like viewing points that are now overgrown with trees so now there's no view to be had), so just check things before you head out to them.
The Thai resataurant in Healesville was lovely and great value for money. We can also highly recommend the Dark Horse Cafe just out of Yarra Glen - lovely warm hospitality to be had there with very filling and delicious food.

Great place to stay!
Great place to stay! We had such a good time and the cafes and shops were all very friendly. The food was fantastic with so many options. Lots to do around Healesville itself. Highly recommend Marooondah Reservoir for a picnic, walk and explore.

Excellent position close to shops , cafes etc. a cosie cottage that fitted 8 adults. It wasn’t a spacious place but was well equipped with everything you might need for a short stay. The only thing we couldn’t find was a chopping board .

We wanted to explore the Yarra Valley and sample some local wine and food, so that is what we did. We thoroughly enjoyed the friendly local welcome, and all the independent shops, wineries and cafes. I would recommend 2N3D to fully engage. If you are flying as we were early Sunday morning, it's around 1hr 10m to Tullamarine, so within easy striking distance by car. In sum - it's a small compact village, great little cinema, interesting art galleries, a wealth of fab local wine and food, and a wildlife sanctuary as well.

Great O/N stop on the way to Phillip Island.
Great O/N stop on the way to Phillip Island. Very clean and relaxing with a great garden area for both adults and children. Good parking space to unload. Would not hesitate to stay again. fully recommend.
I booked the King room with view.Glenn greeted us very warmly and showed us to our room which was very spacious with nice views. King bed which was so comfortable, lovely big bathroom with spa and big square shower head. All excellent. Only a few minutes drive to Healesville and so many wineries close by. Had a visit from a friendly cockatoo on the balcony. Glenn recommenced a friendly cab driver who picked us up and got us home from Rochford. All in all a very relaxing place and would recommend.
The location is a very short drive to the township of Healesville providing easy access to a range of meals and tourist options. The location is fantastic with a great view from the loungeroom, bedroom and verandah. Access would be difficult for those with a disability as there are stairs at the front. The hosts were great with communication and providing a very clean, modern and relaxing cottage. Would certainly visit again.
The tranquility of the property and the warm owners, Louise and Greg who treated us like their own family members, made the stay a unique experience. The 3-bedroom cottage we stayed in is spacious and well-furnished. Stepping out of the property, the copacetic landscape is eye-catching that makes you unite with the nature. Greg offered top wine selection tips that made the wine tasting tour a fruitful one.
Mike and Jenna were the best hosts that we have ever had the pleasure to experience in a vacation rental. They were very exceptional in their detail to welcoming and taking care oi our very need. Great story telling and amenities! We will be recommending their place to all of our friends and family and business associates! We hope to stay with them again and keep in contact with them going forward.
Secret Cottage is a beautiful little place! Perfect size for a couple of days away. It's super private with its own driveway and yard. Additionally, it's close enough to stroll into town so you can sample of the amazing food and drinks Healesville has on offer. The gas fireplace is also hot enough to take the chill off the cold country nights. We had a wonderful stay!
Great location, is very clean and very comfortable. The house is beautiful, and we really enjoyed our stay. It is also very family-friendly, Caroline and Anthony provided us with a port-a-cot which was very handy. The house is also very closely located to Healesville town centre. We stayed 3 nights for a wedding in Dixon Creek, and it was a great location.
Sunset Cottage was wonderful: full of historic, rustic elements in a very stylish manner. It was extremely comfortable. The fruit platter, bread, milk, tea/coffee made life on arrival easy. Pat and Neil were warm, welcoming and helpful. The location, on the edge of Healesville, with a beautiful view of the sunset, made exploring the Yarra Valley very easy.
Very cute cottage with a well stocked kitchen and large living/dining area. Great location for Healesville expeditions.
Spa was large, comfortable and extra wide, which is great for couples.
The local lake and grassland would be great for a young family.
Such a beautiful, tranquil cottage set in a relaxing environment and only minutes from Healesville. It was a perfect getaway and we were super impressed with the fine touches and the great breakfast provided. We would recommend staying here to everyone.
Our family loved the location the variety of accommodation was outstanding. I’ve never seen a holiday park as big as this one with beautiful cabins & sites. By far the best caravan park we’ve ever stayed in. We can’t wait to come back.
Nice and cosy with everything we need. Stunning view with surrounding mountains We spotted a few kangaroos and beautiful birds. A close driving distance to town and only a few kms from Healesville Santuary. The hosts were so kind.
The cottage was a home away from home..It was clean, comfortable with everything we needed & more. I was very impressed having a hand rail at the steps, in the shower and toilet. Would highly recommend.
Ralph was very helpful in getting us booked in. We were in Cottage 3 and it was in perfect condition. Very roomy and comfortable. The back deck area was nice to sit in at the end of the day.
It felt at home, very welcoming, tidy, everyone was so nice! Great for the family, great location, 3 min drive from shops and sanctuary. Would definitely go back!
