Our Hosts, Fran & Terry welcomed us on our arrival to their beautifully appointed house across the road from the beach. If I could give 6 stars I would as all of our needs were fulfilled.

House was very close to Penguin center and the beachfront but also set back enough that it was nice and quiet. Owner was very nice and very accommodating, with lots of helpful local information and suggestions, Room was nicely appointed with sea views, very comfy bed and nice walk through shower and bathroom. It was also nice to be able to use the rear, enclosed garden and sit out on the garden furniture to relax. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
Penguin Seaside Homestay is located 984 feet from Penguin and its lovely beach. It offers 160 degree views of the ocean and township. The property is a 5-minute walk to the beach and shops.

the apartment located at a wonderful place that you may see the moonrise from the living room. and the super markets are near by, in front of us are white sand little playground. the apartment itself is well designed, clean and provides bug tub. really really in love with here!

We were amazed by the stunning view. The interior decoration made us feel like immersing in a music world. The kitchen was fully equipped. We were provided ingredients for a full breakfast which was not advertised. We had the privilege to enjoy the whole house with five bedrooms which could accommodate 13 people, though we were only two couples. The owner only rents to one party no matter how many people the group has. Highly recommended if you’re going to Cradle Mountain or penguin viewing at Lilico Beach.

It have beautiful coastal views.
Towns near by are Sulphur Creek 1km(limited facilities) and Penguin 5km, larger town very quaint with ATM's, small supermarkets, pub, resturant and cafes and take away, newsagent.
You are catered for breakfast lunch and tea in Penguin.
A great bakery but get the early. Fantastic undercover Sunday market.

Great place for young children.
Flat walking and small beach with free activities.
Check out the duck pond behind the old Railway Station.
BBQ facilities toilets playground and platypus mornings and evenings in the pond.
Massage, vet, petrol station , veggie market,
lovely little shops and a few op shops too. Local police and fire.
Howth and Penguin are 10 minutes from Burnie and Ulverstone and and 20 mins from the spirit of Tasmania.
