The bed was amazingly comfortable and large- after days of car travel with a bad back and hip and a few bad nights sleep because of them , this bed was amazing and I slept perfectly - think it was better than my bed at home

Kingaroy is very friendly and compact. Everything is available at a short distance. You need a car really, but once you park in town, you could probably walk everywhere. Craft options at a couple of shops there are fantastic.

A visit to the Visitor Information Centre is a must.
A visit to the Visitor Information Centre is a must. The volunteers are quite knowledgeable and friendly and provided valuable information. The adjoining Kingaroy Museum and Art Gallery are of a high standard and well worth exploring. Enjoyed a relaxed luncheon at one of the South Burnett wineries.

We visited Kingaroy for the 2nd Bacon Festival.
We visited Kingaroy for the 2nd Bacon Festival. We had a great time at the festival that was well organised and interesting. We also had a drive around the town and went to the Commercial Hotel and the RSL and both were excellent. Great country hospitality everywhere.Elle MWAustralia

We were warmly welcomed and provided with all the information we needed for a comfortable stay. When we opened the door we were gobsmacked by what we saw. The cottage is stunning in terms of its interior decoration and layout and the view is beautiful. The kitchen is very well stocked, the bed extremely comfortable and the whole cottage was very clean. Just wished we had booked to stay longer. Excellent value for money.

It has a full cooker, oven, sink and full size fridge . There is a seating area with couch and room to hang clothes. The site is nicely kept with mature trees and shrubs and is very quiet and close to the centre of town. Across the road is a good restaurant called midnight at the Oasis, probably the best place to eat in Kingaroy.

We stayed the night there, for New Years Eve, visiting my families that live in Kingaroy. Plenty of car spaces, close to all the shops, quite area, home away from home. It has a reverse cycle air conditioner which we used to take the chill off the air and good lighting. Hosts supplied bedclothes as asked for.
