The facilities were excellent . The location was very private what we needed for a couple get away. It was quiet clean spacious and exactley what a couple needed for weekend away. The main house had all the facilities needed to cook up a storm and just sit on the balcony and enjoy the sunset with a glass of wine. would go again well worth it .

Although there was a hiccup with room suitability for a baby, the staff went above and beyond doing everything to make our stay comfortable. Thank you to all the staff who were so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to our next visit.

We are a group of 4 (two couples)and we absolutely loved staying at Hill Top Country Guesthouse. The location in the middle of Hunter Valley is amazing and there are so many activities to do around. The views are great. The guest house had an old fashioned style, but was very clean.
Margaret is a kind hard-working woman who has been very hospitable to us. We would definitely stay here again.
Lovedale is a nice and pleasant part of the countryside.
Lovedale is a nice and pleasant part of the countryside. There are plenty of wineries, cafes, cellar doors, restaurants and places to walk. It is fairly central to all the other main Hunter hot spots but you need a car and someone to drive who does not drink

Easy access. Great scenery. Lovely roads to drive on.
Easy access. Great scenery. Lovely roads to drive on. So many interesting stops. To many for a weekend - which keeps you coming back. Great food and cafes but not a fan of the $15 tasting - with no discounts from purchases, but i understand some costs need to be covered, but thats $30 a stop for couples. Thats a good wine from places - but if you fit in 5 vineyards a day, it adds up, and i dont really need to taste a full range, especially if designated driver.

Wonderful area to visit and staying at The Crowne Plaza made our stay so very easy as they have catered for every aspect of our stay.
We attended a wedding at a nearby winery so got to enjoy some of the local scenery and wines of the area which were first class,
We had a meal at the Redsalt restaurant at the Crowne and could not recommend it more highly; such a wonderful experience.
Our only complaint is we didn't book our stay for longer.

Great place overall, but we were disappointed that the pool was listed as heated , was obvious the heater had been disconnected.
Also the putt putt golf was in our opinion not usable!
Room was clean and very much our taste, loved the rustic country feel . Bed was a bit to hard for us but otherwise we had a great stay.

The views are lovely.
The views are lovely. Our accommodation choice wasn’t the best - Vineyard Hill. We did an amazing full day winery tour with Tastes of the Hunter. The lunch stop was at 4 Pines at the farm brewhouse which was terrific

So many fabulous places to visit.
So many fabulous places to visit. Can recommend Binnorie Dairy- the cheese is delicious. Also Stomp wines- Meredith is very hospitable and the wines and setting are lovely. Great spot for an afternoon of tasting, under the gum trees.
The staff were very nice and helpful. The restaurant was great.
The hotel room however was very standard and average yet we paid $1234 for two nights and it wasn't worth it, the bed was very uncomfortable and the shower had no pressure. The cost was due too long weekend, it was a shame that the hotel had nothing on would have been good to have at least some events on that same weekend rather than other dates such as beer and wine festival which was the week after. The Spa was fully booked and closed at 2pm.
The whole experience was perfect for our family. We booked the 2 cottages side by side and it was just beautiful. The cottages were homey, especially the fire when it got a bit cold and rainy in the afternoon. The complimentary wine tasting was delightful. Meg was knowledgeable, kind and very dedicated to her lovely venue. We already have noted Emma's Cottages for our next stay in the Hunter Valley. Thank you Meg for our wonderful day!
The breakfast package was terrific from the wide assortment of cereals, fresh milk, to the bacon and eggs fresh bread and orange juice. The location was fabulous. Very close to all the wineries, dessert bars, Bistro Molines and Hunter Valley Gardens. Historical towns like Morpeth, Maitland and Wolllombi were within an easy drive.
The par 3 golf course was great fun and the mini golf course also provided fun and many laughs.

Uninterrupted relaxation, stylish design, and luxury at its finest. Nestled in the beautiful Lovedale area of the Hunter Valley, this hotel offers a seamless and informal experience. From the crisp white linen to the groovy furniture. This is a haven of tranquility. Our main to go option when we need some time off.
I should mention the breathtaking sunset!
The villa is very comfortable, well appointed and equipped and spotless. The location is very good in reasonable proximity to wineries in Lovedale and within 20 minutes of most locations in the Hunter Valley. Access to the villa from the Hunter Freeway is very easy saving having to drive through the valley. We have already booked the villa in 2023.
Beautiful & quiet location, but very close access to Lovedale wineries & beyond. Perfectly sized little cottage for 2-4 people with a nice back deck to enjoy the sunset, with all the facilities you need for self-catering before/after a day of touring around the Hunter Valley.
Had a wonderful time at the ‘Cabins at Lovedale Wedding Chapel’. The atmosphere was tranquil and the property beautiful. Tracy went above and beyond to make us and our puppy feel welcome and our stay comfortable. The cabins were very clean and cosy. Will definitely be back!
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The modern and very spacious suits each look out at charming lakes and green rolling hills. Tranquil yet close to great cafes and key Hunter attractions. there’s a pool! great place.
The house was perfect size and layout for our extended family group. The kids had space to run and play.
The location was perfect for a wedding we attended and then for visiting wineries and the Hunter Valley Gardens.
- We arrived slightly early to Hunter Valley and, as our room was ready, the staff were flexible and let us check in early. This was super helpful!
- The fireplace made the villa so cosy!
The location was convenient, with famous wineries, cafes, and Hunter Valley Gardens within a 10-minute drive. The bedding and towels were clean, and the spacious kitchen was a plus.
Accommodation is well placed to wineries/all other attractions of Hunter Valley. It is comfortable, roomy and quiet.
Communication with staff was easy and helpful.
We absolutely loved our stay at the Cabins at Lovedale Wedding Chapel! Tracey the owner was so sweet and the breakfast box and wine on arrival was amazing.
