As one of us is a caeliac, we thought it safer to take our own breakfast.

I had the most amazing experience staying at this spacious Yurt. The little extras (eggs, breakfast muffins and marshmallows) they included were such a pleasant surprise. The fireplace added a cozy touch, perfect for the chilly evenings. The location was easy to get to and the view was incredible, especially during sunrise and sunset. It was quiet, allowing for a peaceful and relaxing stay. I would highly recommend this Yurt to anyone looking for a memorable experience. You won't be disappointed.

Lunawanna is on the western side of Bruny, so you can enjoy...
Lunawanna is on the western side of Bruny, so you can enjoy spectacular sunsets. Its a lot quieter than Adventure Bay, which is a key part of its charm. There is a sandy beach at the end of Cemetery road. The nearest shop and hotel is in Alonnah, but watch for the food van which does regular visits to the Lunnawanna community hall. Its a good base for trips to the lighthouse or Cloudy Bay.

Extremely well equipped and very cosy and comfortable accommodation in a quiet location close to water. The weather was quite challenging throughout our stay, but the accommodation was a very welcome retreat. Very highly recommended.

The house is wonderful and the location is amazing.
The house is wonderful and the location is amazing. As Dee suggests, if you eat in then take your supplies as there are minimal nearby and the Lunawanna store is expensive and less that ideal although Adventure Bay does have a very good store but isn't nearby. The kitchen, outdoor bbq is well set up for cooking and meal preparation. The Bruny Hotel has good meals but one doesn't necessarily want to eat out every night and leave the lovely house and view.

Lunawanna is in close proximity to all attractions on Bruny...
Lunawanna is in close proximity to all attractions on Bruny Island. A car is a must and there is only one petrol pump on the entire Island; you need to be prepared. It is at Adventure Bay. Try the hikes they are truly spectacular. The 'hotel Bruny' has a magnificent menu from locally sourced produce. You need to book ahead; it is worth it. The ambience is quite fun also.
