Straight away I liked how friendly the staff were, and being disabled, it’s all on one level and parking was close , Dianne the manager, made sure I was in the correct room

Stayed in a cabin. Basic but with everything you need. Showers are a bit small but adequate. Sealed pad directly beside and sealed roadways makes it easy on motorbikes.

Cabin in Oberon
The room was spacious, Beds more than enough for our family. The kitchen was well equiped. The location was excellent - close to restaurants and IGA and a supershop "Foodwork".

Didn't end up staying there.
Didn't end up staying there. I drove 4 hours to only be strandard in a remote unfamiliar area sat in the car all night in fear total darkness around a back street because this hotel/pub locked up and left . They had 6 hours to check if they had any bookings. Obviously they didn't as they knocked off work. No emergency contact numbers available. . No access to the room i booked . No access to speak to anyone. The number provided was the pub ph number and clearly I could here it ringing from outside. .
I'm in a street with complete darkness. Nothing opened for anyone to help me in a horrible situation. I'm Still waiting for a phone call to atleast apologise. But no ! This buisness Obviously hasn't had any empathy to check my wellbeing considering that put me in a potentially danger situation. It's 10pm and I'm completely strandard. Couldn't sleep in my car as I didn't have a blanket or pillow. I am disgusted that a buisness can treat a human like some wild animal

Friendly town in close proximity to the "Caves".
Friendly town in close proximity to the "Caves". Not much open at night, however I was staying in mid winter. Exploring Jenolan Caves were once again fascinating with my 'bucket list' highlight being abseiling & climbing down the interior of the Elder cave....known as The Plughole!

There is very limited dining choices especially in the evening. The Royal Hotel does it's best and the food is fair but not great. When the museum is open by the old railway track it is worth a look around.

Nothing special here.
Nothing special here. The information centre can only mention the caves and a garden. The water garden is lovely enough for someone who does not usually fancy gardens, but it seems it's not always open.
A great old hotel that has been beautifully done up, the rooms were small, simple and clean. The seperate shared bathrooms were clean and close.
The pub staff were excellent in their service and incredibly friendly. The food was great pub food and the multiple fires were cosy. The renovations and decor have been done well.
Value for money was great.
We stayed at one of the older cabins. It was spotless and comfortable. The bunk bed size was very generous, my two are 5’10” and 6’2”and I heard no complaints this morning. It was very cold in Oberon (4 degrees when we arrived) so it was so lovely to get into the cabin and find the staff had already put the heating on. Very thoughtful
The staff was lovely and they included the cot and some milk for tea with no extra fees. They gave great recommendations for local attractions and were super friendly. The beds were extremely comfy and the shower had amazing water pressure. Very convenient location for walking into Oberon town centre.
The staff were so friendly and the rooms and facilities were extremely clean. A great place to stay while we were in Oberon for a wedding. The bathroom looked to be freshly renovated, so it really made having a shared bathroom totally fine.
the hotel is at the city entrance. It is easy to get in and out and to reach restaurants in Oberon. The view of the bedroom was very nice, a lot of natural lighting and comfortable.
