Excellent motel. Surprisingly quiet even though it was on a very busy road. Very close to a supermarket and a hotel where we had an excellent meal. Nice walk to the Rotary Park and water tower lookout where there was a great view of the area

We thoroughly enjoyed our Port Augusta trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Port Augusta trip. We stayed at the Augusta Courtyard Motel, which was excellent. There may not be a lot to see but it’s quite a pretty town & nothing’s very far away.
We went down to the wharf for a peaceful stroll and took some lovely photos. Had breakfast in a cafe adjacent to a park, where there was free live music courtesy of a band that was singing and playing. They even supplied fold up chairs for folks to sit in 👍
A great morning was had before we headed off to the race track. Our horse wasn’t a winner but everything else was.
Loved our stay and wished we had an extra night!

The Wadlata Centre was excellent. Certainly worth the entry fee.
We stayed at the Magestic Oasis Apartments - friendly, helpful staff in a lovely location. Full kitchen facilities. The air conditioner was very welcomed as the outside temperature was 42 C. A tad hot!

Odd town shopping area layout.
Odd town shopping area layout.
Wanted to go on Pichi Richi railway but here wrong day unfortunately.
Make sure you visit the water tower. Go up it and enjoy the views of Port Augusta and further afield.
All staff very friendly. Restaurant really good. Indian cuisine really good. Love the banquet. Now had twice. We actually had stayed elsewhere last October but had a meal at the Standpipe. We were impressed enough to want to eat there again on this occasion and staying we thought would be ideal as we would have no need to walk in the dark. Our bathroom shower was spotless so well done to the cleaning team.
This is THE place to stay in Port Augusta - there are very new owners who are really pouring their heart and soul into this hotel. Super clean, nicely presented and great facilities including laundry and a well stocked shared kitchen. 5 stars from us! Best value for money in all of PA. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I stay here regularly and its yet to let me down.
Very comfortable rooms with everything a traveler needs.
Basic cooking amenities so you can heat a meal up.
Good desk for working, comfortable bed, comfy couch and an excellent bathroom. Best place to stay in Port Augusta!
That I could park my Motorcycle right outside the Cabin was essential to my stay. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the pub for drinks and dinner. The room rate was standard to what I have been paying at other Caravan Parks and Motels in SA and Victoria.
Great value in Port Augusta - modern room - felt really comfy - good cooking facilities - separate bedrooms and living dining area - lovely modern cabins with a great verandah and parking next to cabin - really tidy and very clean - definitely recommend
Excellent motel. Surprisingly quiet even though it was on a very busy road. Very close to a supermarket and a hotel where we had an excellent meal. Nice walk to the Rotary Park and water tower lookout where there was a great view of the area
Very functional cabins in a convenient location next to the small city centre of Port Augusta. The cabins are well designed to pack a lot of facility into a relatively small space and I enjoyed staying here.
the rooms were lovely, comfy and spacious, so clean and pet friendly. BWS, Club/Hotel for food, supermarket food land and roadhouse servo just next door to facilities. so close to everything.
Comfort Inn Port Augusta definitely would stay at again. great size room with comfy bed and a great bathroom, also there’s a pub next door but 1 and didn’t hear a thing from it.
Very comfortable overnight stay in Port Augusta. Our room was spacious and the king bed super comfy.
The staff recommendation of dinner at Augusta hotel was excellent.
Lots of history in this hotel. Frank was very friendly, and the room was perfect for our overnight stay through Port Augusta. We booked again for our return trip back.
We had the most delicious dinner at the Standpipe Motel Restaurant. Beautiful aesthetic and atmosphere, attentive and efficient wait staff, and incredible food.
