big town with lots of nice gardens and places to eat very clean town and easy point to go to Walhalla and gippsland lakes ideal spot to use as a base .Would not recommend some of the hotels to eat at .We ate at Traralgon Bowls great service beautiful meals and very well priced open to general public as well .

Traralgon is not really a tourist destination in my eyes.
Traralgon is not really a tourist destination in my eyes. It just happened to be in a convenient location for us to chill for a couple of days and do short walks and longer drives, before moving on to our ultimate location. There are delightful parks in the area, as well as lovely scenic drives. We found it fun to visit other nearby towns as well.

The kitchen in this apartment was well equipped. with cooking utensils, pots and pans, casserole dishes, crockery and cutlery. Added touches of breakfast provisions, eggs, butter, condiments, orange juice, strawberries, bread, milk, cereals, plus extras such as salt, pepper and olive oil was a lovely surprise. It was a little confusing because there are apartments on either side of the main highway. The facilities in the apartment were amazing and very spacious. It was like staying in an airbnb.
