The accommodation was beautiful, especially for a country town.
The town had a lovely friendly atmosphere, with all the locals happy to share their beautiful town and its history. There were lovely shops to look in and plenty of places to eat.
Overall, a lovely place to visit.

Lovely country town.
Lovely country town. Heritage walk around town marks specific heritage buildings. Great Pub, The Top Pub, with great food. 2nd Pub being renovated. Several cafes to choose from. Highly recommend The Alternate Route for breakfast, coffee and cake. Nice shops and antique shops. End of July but not too cold. Walked around in the day with no need for a coat.

Fabulous country town with great steaks (at TopPub) and quirky cafes 'The Alternate Root' with great food and service. Interesting shops, history abounds, friendly people everywhere you went. No need to leave your accommodation especially if you stay at Kings Cottage! Walk everywhere in Uralla - we will definitely return.

Uralla was a brilliant surprise!!
Uralla was a brilliant surprise!! A really dynamic little town, with lovely locals. Uralla seems to be a growing hub for locally produced food, beer and crafts. Great vibe. Really not at all what I was expecting. Any country town that is cool enough for the teenagers to stay and work is doing something right.

Uralla is a beautiful small town with a hipe of activities.
Uralla is a beautiful small town with a hipe of activities. It has an assortment of Antique shops, book shops, old clothing stores and lots of cafes and takeaway food places.
The two hotels are thriving and the old historial buildings in and around the main street are a must to see.
Even the museum is a must see on your list too. So much history of Uralla to see inside and the history of THUNDERBOLT the bush ranger is amazing to see !!
There is also a tourist bureau on the main street that points you to all the historial points in Uralla.
Definitely a town to explore for a wander around the streets and perhaps if you have a bit of extra time, some gold panning in the near by creeks and/or river beds.

Uralla is a funky little town that is open on weekends and public holidays. There are lots of little shops and artisan wares to view around town. There is also some good cycling down country roads to experience the beautiful landscape. There are nearby gin distilleries, a brewery and various cafes for dining and drinking. Winter in Uralla would be fun too, lots of fireside options.
a continental breakfast was provided, with extras as well - bacon and farm eggs, home-made bread - the cottage was very well laid out - log fire warmed the whole unit - bed was very comfortable - there were large areas of lawn and garden to walk around - it was very close to Uralla where we had a function to attend - the view on the porch overlooking a valley was lovely
Kings Cottage is a beautifully restored heritage cottage in Uralla, set in a lovely garden. Everything which a visitor may require has been thoughtfully provided, for a stay of a few days or for a longer stay.
The cottage is warm and comfortable as the weather is getting colder, and Rob is a wonderful host.
I was very happy with the hotel, simple and cost effective. I was supplied with a microwave upon request pretty much straight away which was great. Stayed there for 3 nights and on every occasion of returning back to the room it was cleaned and tidy without putting a sign on the front of the door.
The property is spacious, tastefully furnished, well appointed and exceedingly comfortable. Very convenient having garage parking at the door. Owner thoughtfully provides a few frozen and pantry food items which are handy backup if required. Short walk to main street of Uralla.
Everything! Was like staying at a hotel. Stunning decor, great fire … really lovely on a cold, rainy night .
Hosts were great , lovely muffins to eat, music softly playing and accomodating re an earlier check in .
Highly recommend ❤️
This is our third stay at Clover. We absolutely LOVE this cottage!! It is exceptionally presented with generous provisions and first class facilities. We're already planning our fourth trip to Clover and the gorgeous town of Uralla 😊
This was without a doubt one of the nicest places we have stayed on holidays. The perfect mix of elegance and comfort. The garden was beautiful and the places had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay.
Clover Cottage was incredibly welcoming and well presented. The space was clean as well as hygienic, prefect for the whole family. As Uralla is quite cold the heating in the cottage was great to keep us all warm.
We really liked the wood combustion fire. Uralla in the middle of winter is very cold, however The Bower is comfortably warm and cozy. The bathroom is also very well appointed with a very luxe ambience.
The room was spacious and nicely decorated. It is being restored at present , and has many original features. It is located in the centre of Uralla. It is a short walk anywhere in the town.
