Drifted Away, hotel in Urunga

The hosts were very accommodating about our arrival time, the "first breakfast" treats were tasty and appreciated, quick walk to the beach, the room itself was modern and serene. Loved the vibe and the many books on the shelf.

Fernmount Stay, hotel in Urunga

Located 22 miles from The Big Banana, Fernmount Stay provides accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared kitchen for your convenience.

Very sad that there was musty odour throughout the cottage with a heart condition I had a very hard time breathing. The only thing I liked was the pool . Saw a lady asking my family if they needed anything once. They were not happy with the spiders in there house. In all one of the worst places we have stayed in. Lorrie Clive Alberta Canada

The cabin was very clean and had beautiful views of the water and boardwalk. Perfect location, across the road to the supermarket , which sold beautiful cooked food in their delli, also the pub was across the road, Bowling club in walking distance just around corner, and RSL Club was also in walking distance . Will definately come back.

Walking on Urunga's very long boardwalk and onto the beautiful, uncrowded, and seemingly endless beach at the end of the boardwalk was pure magic. My husband and I did the walk twice- in the morning and later in the afternoon- and marveled at how different each experience was. Urunga is a very special place that has yet to be spoilt by over-commercialism. Hopefully, it will stay this way for a very long time.

Urunga township has a pub, two clubs, two supermarkets, nice coffee shops for brekkie and a jummy bakery and quality butcher plus restaurants to sustain locals & visitors alike. It's proximity to the river & ocean make it a great place to just relax. It has a great river walk which starts near the pub & pet friendly caravan park. It is a good attraction but is nearing its use by date & should be a broad walk. Urunga's proximity to other towns & villages & places of interest, make it a great location for staying in Urunga & day tripping. There are many lovely places to visit in NSW. Urunga & surrounding areas should be on your to do list.

We ate at the golf club as it was near the resort, it was very well priced and we all enjoyed our meals (family of 4 - 2 adults & 2 teen girls) We loved the boardwalk and our SUP adventures up and down the river. The pool at the resort is great too. We stayed here as we were attending a sporting event in Coffs Harbour but couldn't get accommodation any closer, the drive to Coffs was easy and if we attend that sporting event again we would choose Urunga for our accommodation as its a lovely little town.
