It was a beautiful unit with all conveniences necessary provided for a very reasonable price. We would stay there again and will recommend the property to friends. We wish we had stayed a second night.

Wynyard provides a great base for all sorts of day trips to Table Cape; Boat Harbour; Sisters Beach; Stanley; Burnie; the west coast and inland to various waterfalls i.e. Dip & Guide. Lots of opportunity to walk along the beach, fossil bluff exploration, cycling, fishing and many other activities and great food outlet choices. Locals are very friendly and helpful. A great little town to spend some leisure time in.
A great little town to spend some leisure time in. Op shops, nice eating places., good variey of shops. Scenic drives close by. Scenic location. A lovely boardwalk and seaside walking track is great. A good variety of accomondation available. Ladybug Pizza and Waterfront hotel had good food. The Sunday markets are only on 1st and 3rd weekends so plan your trip around them.
If visiting Table Cape, don't bother doing the walk between the light house and Lookout if you are expecting great views. There is vegetation along the walk.. much better just to drive to each location unless you are fit and don't mind walking. It is loose gravel and slippery in places.

I am originally from the area and visiting relatives and the "old place" always brings joy. My food requirements are minimal
Wynyard is a great little town and serves my early childhood home of Boat Harbour well. Visitors should ensure they visit Boat Harbour while holidaying at Wynyard. Don't miss Table Cape/Fossil Bluff. You wont be disappointed.

fantastic place to stay staff were amazing and very friendly. we would have liked to have stayed longer but had to move on. great location easy to walk everywhere. would definitely recommend staying here
We loved this property, we only stayed one night but we would have happily stayed longer! Easy check in using key lock box, the entire place is absolutely immaculate and so warm and welcoming. Lots of lovely little touches throughout and the most warm and comfy bed! We would absolutely recommend this gorgeous place to anyone coming through Wynyard, it’s very competitively priced compared to many of the bland motels we have stayed on while travelling, what a find!
The staff were lovely and friendly, the room was fantastic. The little touches made the difference, like when I opened the room, there was a lamp on & the tv had a relaxing screensaver with lively calm music playing, there was a complimentary bottle of water by the bed, there was a pillow menu & Tim Tams! The breakfast was just perfect as well. I would highly recommend this property, exceptional value for money!
Very comfortable bed, fantastic shower, beautiful waterfront location, great to be able to take our dachshund. Very good restaurant and cafe on site. Great location for walking and also close to the main shopping area and the tummy fish and chip shop (you have to try it!). Friendly staff, nice laid back vibe. We've been twice now and will double go back for a third visit one day ☺️
Located right next door to Wynyard's main street, Coastal Pods is an easy stroll to a variety of shops and dining experiences. Check in was straightforward with the reception staff both friendly and knowledgeable. A nice touch was the text message advising when some upcoming garden maintenance, which included mowing, was due to commence.
My stay at the Wharf Hotel, Wynyard was primarily the close proximity to the airport, 20 minute walk or taxi. My stay there was good and I enjoyed my meal in the dining room. The view from my room looked over the river, I did not do a walk over to the beach but it certainly looked like a lovely walk
The room was well equipped, clean and cosy.
There was plenty of information about what to see and do around Wynyard and Tasmania.
Very clear instructions on check in and check out.
Lovely little extra touches. Angie was a fantastic host with great communication.
What is not to like??? We loved the retro feel, the location, the staff, the service, the price, in fact everything about the Waterfront Wynyard is perfect!
This was the fourth time we have stayed there, and I'm sure won't be the last.
The most gorgoeus little villa in Wynyard. Check-in was a breeze, the location is stunning, and the house is warm and cosily decorated. The bed in the master bedroom is absolute lush, like sleeping in a marshmellow with great support.
Very well situated on outskirts of Wynyard, convenient to all facilities and shopping, with tourist attractions close by to accommodation. Hosts are very friendly and obliging. Our second stay and will certainly call again.
Excellent location, facing the Inglis river. Easy walk to beach and Wynyard town centre. Rooms are tidy, well equipped, in good repair and staff are eager to make the experience of staying at the motel a pleasant one.
Excellent location, very convenient to airport, Wynyard CBD and the rest of NW Tasmania. Easy off street parking. Comfortable, clean, well appointed facilities.
Rachel and Andy were friendly hosts and the room was reasonably spacious with an ensuite bathroom. Our breakfast of soft boiled eggs on toast was tasty.
