We did not have breakfast here, so cannot comment.
Overall, the property was spotlessly clean and the king-size bed very comfortable. Being in the town centre meant that the castle, town hall and every other venue that we had to attend was within easy walking distance. Parking is secure on private land with gates that are closed at night once everyone is inside.
Offering garden views, Chambres chez Nanou avec petit déjeuner is an accommodation set in Chimay, 30 km from MusVerre and 33 km from Bois du Tilleul Golf Course.

The Grey Tiny was an amazing experience. Spending two night there was just what we needed, a moment to reconnect with our direct environment and stay focused on what is essential. Living the moment and leaving out the unnecessary. One you spend time in the Grey Tiny, you realise not everything in life is necessary and you can do fine with just that. The design and every little detail was wonderfully thought. My crush, decoration, furniture, the kitchen , the eco-friendly system build in for water, toilet , not forgetting shower gel, soap etc. The techie touch and la crème de la crème, the Nordic bath (kiss chef!), the calmness and the view. Basically, we loved everything!! And will definitely come back. Nancy and Jean are amazing hosts, taking the time to receive us and explain us about the whole idea behind their tiny. It was great to hear about their stories and projects. We wish you both the very best in your future endeavours.

We first came for a town twinning (Jumelage) series of events. The main reason why you may know the name "Chimay" is because of the famous beers brewed locally by Trappist monks, also it's cheeses and local sausages...you can't come here and not be aware of them!
The town centre is compact, everything significant being within walking distance.
The Castle is a lovely place to visit, and its ornate theatre is breath-taking. The resident Prince (Philippe) and his family are genuinely charming if you are fortunate enough to meet and talk to them during your time there.
It's a friendly town, boasting a delightful cobbled town square where you can sometimes catch a musical group or modern brass band playing. It has friendly people and a great little market on Friday mornings. and there are enough historic and natural attractions around in the locality to make it a decent centre for touring.

Location is ideal for the motor circuit events, unfortunately one of the restaurants in the Town Sq. has closed and Grand Cafe is only open Fridays and Saturdays, excellent food. The Casio bar/restaurant is good for food but service was slow.
The area is excellent for driving or riding, still haven't managed to visit Chimay Monastery yet where they make the beer and cheese.

We have visited Chimay many times for the Classic Motorcycle Road Racing held over three days in July each year. It has a wonderful atmosphere with riders from all over the continent and GB taking part. You can walk all round the closed roads circuit and enjoy the racing from many vantage points.

We got there on Monday night and almost every bar and restaurant was closed apart from the absolutely excellent pizza takeaway on the town square which had a few tables outside. This absolutely was the only thing that saved our night otherwise we would have needed to drive out of chimay.
The town needs to change its name to "chimay closed on Mondays"

Good base for exploring the surrounding country side, lots of outdoor activity quite close.
Town very quite out of main season with many shops and restaurants only opening at the weekend.
Cracking bar on the square serves the local Chimay beers and does food.
Very quiet historic location in the center of town. In the center so parking was an issue, but I found street paking less than a block away. very nice multi level well stocked and clean apartment. Enough electrical outlets. Very nice size refrigerator. Great stocked kitchen. Excellent location in the center of Chimay. Good Wifi. Good communication via text message on how to get the keys. Oh the kitchen was stocked well even with great Chimay Trappist beer glasses. 10+++/ A+++ I would stay here again.
The people were very sweet and accommodating. They offered local recommendations for walks in the area and you get to taste a complementary Chimay!
The roulotte and the bed are super comfortable!
The breakfast was delicious.
They have a cute book where you can write about your experience and they add your photo to it.
All in all a great experience! It's a unique stay, it's very rural with views of a meadow and it smelled of wood inside.
Location in the centre of Chimay. Bars and restaurants at 50m. Gîte very clean and beautifully decorated. Modern furnishings with lots of éco friendly astuces. Loads of Space. Parking nearby. Attentive and responsive hosts. Chimay beer in fridge… Fantastic place for a week-end. Visit château recommended. Abbaye Scourmont and the Chimay visitor centre within easy reach on bike or in car. What else?
We loved staying here. The photos on Booking..com do not do this justice.
The room is very tastefully decorated and is bright and airey. The room is spotlessly clean and very comfortable.
Agnes is a treasure. She is warm and friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
Next time we are in Chimay, it will be our first choice to stay.
Wonderful house, renovated with style and originality. Excellent location in Chimay, the wonderful living room area is nice to spend time in. Great facilities, excellent beds. Kind and responsive staff (both before and during stay).
It was beautiful. The hosts were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. All of the breakfast was homemade and changed every day. Right in the middle of Chimay, 2 minutes from the bar, 30 minutes from the racetrack
Great location in the centre of Chimay, with restaurants and bars just around the corner.
Nicely decorated and fitted out. Makes you enjoy staying in a little longer.
Spacious, great for a family vacation.
Attentive hosts.
The entire property was charming and had character. The grounds were peaceful and relaxing. The mini fridge had an assortment of Chimay beers. Francoise was delightful and welcoming.
Unique hotel: refurbished historic manor with a park.
Great parking in the yard.
Good breakfast.
Spacious bathroom.
