They enabled us check in after standard check in hours. Additionally the lady organised breakfast an hour earlier as we had to leave early

Our final stop on a marvellous hike along the Ourthe. The hotel has a patisserie and bakery. Nice clean and cosy rooms with a large (!) television screen. We stayed on the top floor. Had a breakfast in the morning in the bakery. Homemade jam is recommended. A cup of coffee. And a goodbye. If you need some rest in Hotton. This is where you can stay.
L'Hostellerie de La Claire Fontaine is located in the green surroundings of Parc Naturel des 2 Ourthes , a 3-minute drive from La Roche-en-Ardenne.

It's a third generation-owned property. The family takes pride in their business and is attentive to their guests and their experiences. The rooms were comfortable and clean and offered a stocked mini-fridge. The grounds are beautiful and right along a quiet river with well-maintained paths for hiking and cycling. You can drive into La Roche or take a beautiful path through the countryside. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant was local, seasonal, and delicious.
This charming hotel is located along the river l'Ourthe, close to the center of the village of La Roche yet just far enough away for guests to enjoy the quiet and calm of the Ardennes.

The breakfast was good. There was a lot of choice with drinks and food. It was served in good moments.
The bed and breakfast is located in amazing place where you can do lots of hikes and can see different villages.

We went for 1 day and stayed for 3. very quiet and comfortable.Thoroughly enjoyed our host and his B&B. Used it as our base to visit American WW2 museum and other sites.
Marcouray itself is a very small and quiet hamlet.
Marcouray itself is a very small and quiet hamlet. There are no shops or restaurants and no noisy traffic. It is only 2 km from the slightly bigger Marcourt where there is a bakery and a restaurant. Just one thing : if you are cycling down the hill to Marcourt make sure you have very good brakes! We loved walking down but only risked riding down once and that was enough!!
