It's a third generation-owned property. The family takes pride in their business and is attentive to their guests and their experiences. The rooms were comfortable and clean and offered a stocked mini-fridge. The grounds are beautiful and right along a quiet river with well-maintained paths for hiking and cycling. You can drive into La Roche or take a beautiful path through the countryside. The food at breakfast and in the restaurant was local, seasonal, and delicious.

This charming hotel is located along the river l'Ourthe, close to the center of the village of La Roche yet just far enough away for guests to enjoy the quiet and calm of the Ardennes.

Our final stop on a marvellous hike along the Ourthe. The hotel has a patisserie and bakery. Nice clean and cosy rooms with a large (!) television screen. We stayed on the top floor. Had a breakfast in the morning in the bakery. Homemade jam is recommended. A cup of coffee. And a goodbye. If you need some rest in Hotton. This is where you can stay.

We loved our stay at Chanteloup! + The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful in spite of our limited command of Francais. + The breakfast was excellent each and every morning (we stayed eight nights) and was a perfect way to start the day. + Beautiful location overlooking the fields and forests of the Ardennes. + Quiet and relaxing rural environment. The host was really friendly, the room was clean and had everything we needed, with ample space. The bathroom was spacious, clean and had all the necessary amenities. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and brought earlier than normal at our request, to fit in with our schedule. We always had parking space right out front and the whole property was well kept.
