After 8 hours on the bike in freezing weather, as I came down the hill and 1st saw the hotel I said to myself YES! Looks lovely, quiet location, immaculate. This turned into a fantastic 2 day relaxing stay after 2800 miles on a bike.
The pool, sauna & steam room were definitely a bonus. Restaurant was lovely and great menu.
Just a really nice hotel for that quiet relaxing get away.
Surrounded by Ardennes Forest and located in the center of a small village named Smuid, Hostellerie des Tilleuls is a family hotel dating back to 1684.

Location was quiet, peaceful and quite some way from anywhere else to eat or drink - as described. Food excellent, but rather limited menu format. Lovely old buiilding with superb bedroom.

The room was big and comfortable, very clean all around. Nice style for dining room and common areas, the spa area is a little golden addition to a beautiful context.
A great place to stay but not suitable for seriously...
A great place to stay but not suitable for seriously handicapped people. The staff were helpful and polite and made our stay as comfortable as possible.
It was a bit difficult being in the annex down the road because I had to drive my partner outside, get him up the outside staircase and into the room which was fortunately located just inside the door and then find a nearby parking place. Obviously the reverse scenario when going out. The staff were sympathetic and helpful which made the difficult situation much less of a problem.
As always (I was travelling with work and driving long distances across Europe so never know quite where I will end up so) this was a late booking. Very quick response to our last minute (1 1/2 hours before arrival) Booking request. Excellent communication indicating the hotel's restaurant we were staying in would be closed (it was a Sunday) but their sister restaurant would be open.
Lovely hosts, very nice room (and surprisingly quiet for an old house), great atmosphere, a very enjoyable stay from all points of view! I tried three of the five restaurants in the village - all very good, and I enjoyed two circular hiking trails from Redu, as well as the Festival du Livre that took place over the Easter weekend. Had a great time :)
Le C’era d’Hubert is an incredible little gem :). We enjoyed the little garden, the breakfast, the position ( very close to Redu- 5 minutes with car, 20minutes walking), the private parking. Guy was gentle and friendly and served super delicious breakfast!
Located in the full center, side to the church of Redu. Private parking lot available (also with plugs to recharge your car ++). The rooms are small, but well equipped and clean. The bed is very comfortable. We had dinner there and it was superb !
Room big enough and comfortable as expected. Breakfast good.
Staff friendly. They could speak flemish.
Hotel in the centre of the village and not far from
tourist spot Saint-Hubert. Build in local Ardennes style.
Wonderful location, and very quiet. The house has everything one needs for a peaceful staying. Close to Redu, with its small shops and restaurants. Beautiful hiking in the surroundings, departing from the house.
The hotel was what we expected. Clean room with all basic facilities. Restaurant and cafe are very good quality for service and product. Staff friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good. Everything was fresh every day. The staff was very helpful and nice. I really recommend this hotel. It is small but it has its charm.
