My stay at AntiQua & Qook B&B was truly wonderful and comes highly recommended. The bedrooms were not only stunning but also impressively spacious, immaculately clean, and filled with invigorating natural light. Plus, the Wi-Fi signal was strong, which was a big plus.
Private parking added to the convenience, and the B&B's location proved exceptionally practical, especially for my work conference in Awans – just a quick 10-minute drive away. To make things even better, there's a fantastic dining option within easy walking distance, and a delightful bakery is just around the corner.
The owner's exceptional friendliness and attentiveness made my stay truly memorable. Despite my late arrival, she displayed remarkable understanding and waited up for me.
What truly sets this B&B apart is its unparalleled tranquility. In a world where background noise is often a constant, the peacefulness here was a pleasant surprise. The room even featured a silent air conditioning system, which was a welcome touch on a chilly night, ensuring both comfort and warmth.
The following morning, I enjoyed a delightful breakfast that set the perfect tone for the day ahead. And let's not forget the beds – they were incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a restful night's sleep.
In summary, I can't speak highly enough of AntiQua & Qook B&B. It not only met but exceeded all my expectations, offering a harmonious blend of comfort, convenience, and serenity that made my stay truly exceptional.
Tongeren is a very clean village. The people are always very kind and courteous. We enjoy eating at the different restaurants. They have a gelato shop with plenty flavors. If you want a great selection of wines, then Vinotel is the place for you! The Grand Place is quant with a beautiful Cathedral. Most things are within walking distance. The shops are well decorated and inviting. You’ll find plenty of Antique stores too.

Tongeren is a great place if you want to enjoy typical Belgian hospitality and a 'walk back in time'. Parts of the town are very old. In fact it is the oldest town in Belgium. Ambiorix the local hero defeated the Romans. The Gallo-Roman museum is a must.

If you are interested in Antiques - you really should visit the weekly Antiques Market: It is quite good, with a huge number of vendors and surprisingly reasonable prices. For us, it was worth the trip.

Rustic old town with the roman city walls, gallo-roman museum.. which for me was the highlight. I learnt a lot about human civilization and origin of European history & thought. Loved the food culture and I would highly recommend 'De Infirmerie'. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Tongeren!
Everything was beautiful. Our hostess was welcoming, accomodating, spoke English, was always smiling and helpful. The breakfast served daily was exceptional even though we missed a couple of mornings due to getting back late the night before. The rooms were comfortable and large with all amentities provided. The location was central to all of the towns and cities that we had on our agenda. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in Belgium.
Great hospitality by Liry, who also gave us some interesting advice in terms of parking place and resto's in Tongeren. The breakfast is nothing luxurious but great in quality and service. The house is also located close to Tongeren (you can even walk to the center if you like walking a bit - count on about 30' firm walking). It is also at walking distance from the wellness center sané (900m).
A fantastic place in the most central point of town. Given the quality, very reasonably priced. Elegance, comfort, and, despite the location, perfect quietude. An ideal place to contemplate Tongeren's Roman and medieval history. Mario and Katinka are amazing hosts. Along other things, I was invited to taste beer which they themselves make. I will be back for sure.
Our hosts we friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The breakfast was terrific and the design elements in the hotel were thoughtfully chosen. I can't thin of anything that needs improving.
And, if you are in Tongeren for the Antiques - it is a straight shot by foot to the center of the city ... about 15minutes ( 3 in a car, but I wouldn't drive).
unique restored farmhouse with lovely books and crannies, antique architecture and beautiful courtyard and back field. lovely carefully prepared breakfast. option to eat with interesting fellow guests (or not). Fun and delicious restaurant across the street for dinner. great location convenient to Tongeren city but also in nice rural setting.
If you stay in Tongeren the B&B Gaudium is definitely the place to stay. Starting with a very warm welcome, a nice and quiet place in the middle of the town, great rooms with a lot of comfort, and a lovely breakfast. Car park, restaurants, etc. just a few meters away. We enjoyed our stay very much and highly recommend this place.
The hotel was beautifully and sympathetically restored and updated. The bedroom was lovely and well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The owner/host was very friendly, knowledgeable and spoke good English. The breakfast was excellent with a very good selection. The hotel had a car park.
A modern, cosy and good located hotel, very close to the bus and train station and in the city center. It was a misunderstood with the beds and the young receptionist woman was very kind and helpfull, she gave us an upgrade and we could enjoy an incredible room with a beatufill bathtub.
Nice B&B in a quiet town. Very kind and attentive owner. Great breakfast. A bit outside of Tongeren but a nice escape from the noise of the city. Perfect for what we wanted. The frittur down the street has excellent food, more than just fries.
The property was value for money. It was close to the cycling network and 3km from Tongeren. It offered private car parking at the back and a small yard to put the bikes. Outside seating was available, but we didn't use it (November).
Loved the location and it’s uniqueness!
Excellent customer service, beautiful boutique hotel, clean room, and on site parking available!
We enjoyed the Tongeren Antique Market on Sunday- perfect location to walk to it and shop!
We loved the complete setting of the hotel. Very reachable by car, close to the highway. We had a parking spot on the premise of the hotel itself. The communication ran very smoothly and the hosts welcomed us around 22u45.
I have stayed at Vinotel several times in the past 12 months and it has always been exceptional in all respects...room, decor, staff, service. I would not consider staing anywhere else when visiting Tongeren.
The breakfast was very good. The yard out back was really nice, and the space was great. Close to Tongeren and other sites. The owner was very nice and helpful. They made the trip exceptional.
Central location suited us really well for access to the Sunday antiques market. Room was clean with a view of the market place.
Would stay again if we returned to Tongeren
