Only excellent things to say about this beautiful B&B. The host is charming, the place so beautiful, the rooms luxurious and the breakfast outstanding. Our only comment is on the previous 1* comment given by another guest who didn't manage to stay there ( turned up too early) - your scoring is unjustified - you don't know what you missed!
Thank you for a wonderful stay

The location is perfect, close to the old town and has plenty of parking space in front of the B&B. Staying in a historical building is an amazing experience! Loved the decor and breakfast. The owners are very friendly and helpful too.

What a location. It feels like walking through a Van Gogh landscape painting at times, meanwhile you’re just short drives away from the coast, Ieper and Poperinge. Interior takes you back to simpler times.
De Beauven is set in Veurne and offers a terrace. The air-conditioned accommodation is 11 km from Plopsaland, and guests can benefit from private parking available on site and free WiFi.
Veurne is conveniently located off the motorway. Veurne has everything a traveller needs including a selection of quality restaurants and bars. It is a town with history, lovely buildings and a circular walk around the town is possible.

Small walkable town.
Small walkable town. Quieter than the coastal towns in the summer months. Two interesting churches in town. Good train and bus connexions to the coast and interior of Belgium. A large number of rather expensive restaurants around the main square Grote Markt in the centre. We liked Brasserie Christophe but had negative experiences in two other restaurants around the square.

One of the best preserved towns in Belgium.
One of the best preserved towns in Belgium. It would be easy to see everything in half a day, but it is extremely pleasant to stay for longer and there is easy access to coastal towns like De Panne, Koksijde etc

An interesting and attractive town with many of the historic buildings still standing. An excellent tourist office with a most interesting museum about life in Veurne during WW!. Good restaurants and plenty of them. Good access to the coast. Pleasant rural countryside round about. I did like the old railway station, now being restored, and the carillon in the church tower

Nice small city, I'd even say tiny.
Nice small city, I'd even say tiny. Quite a lack of cafes and restaurants. You can expect raised eyebrows if you come without a reservation. The food is all sorts of deep fried stuff, chips for garnish, you really have no other options. All kinds of krokkets and meat. Not a big choice of tap beers, mostly Brugse Zot and something in addition. Not the experience I was expecting to get from Belgium.
I recommend hitting the city park on the Grotemarkt, it is very small and quiet. Has a playground, a few cages with parrots and a few nice statues

Easy placed to reach calais , ideal for a stop over ,plenty of parking and vibrant square with lots of bars and places to eat, the church tower is free to climb ( stairs) a head for heights is required!
Very nice and big house, able to host easily 12 people.
The spacious living and kitchen are, in combination with wall surrounded garden, enables everyone to have enough private space during the visit.
The kitchen is very well equipped.
Very short to the city center of Veurne allowing easy shopping (bakery/buchter), and the next door warehouse is really convenient during your stay.
The house was foreseen to host as well dogs, which made it really nice to get our family together.
The location of the hotel simply could noy be better - just a street behind the main square, extremely quite and with a park right outside the front and a bus stop right outside the back. The building itself was beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was absolutely superb. A bit like Veurne itself the hotel is a real gem of a place. I would wholeheartedly recommend it.
Spacious.
Lovely location in the middle of fields with great views.
Clean and nicely furnished.
Good facilities including washing machine and dryer.
Lovely outside area.
Play barn for kids and adults to play.
Close to Plopsaland and beautiful town of Veurne, and the beach.
Friendly host who met us and explained everything.
Secure property with locking gate.
A very beautiful property which I would recommend.
The staff were very welcoming and we found our room, which was lovely.
Breakfast was fabulous! The hotel had fabulous decor and tastefully done.
Location was very close to the centre, but tucked away enough to be quiet.
Will be going back!
Ideally located to explore the historic town of Veurne, a very short walk from the town square yet peaceful to enable a good night's sleep. Very friendly and helpful hosts. I can't think of a more enjoyable stay at a hotel.
A great place to stay for a night in Veurne. Helpful staff, spotlessly clean, straightforward check in, great location and tasty breakfast. I would happily stay here again. No frills, but does what it does well. Thank you.
Very well situated within walking distance (walking distance) of historic market place of Veurne. Dog friendly, with a nice terrace. Very spatious. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom, free wifi.
The breakfast was really good, it was quiet and yet veurne wasn't far away. Lastly we could safely store our bicycles (outside but without fear of it getting stolen)
