This was probably one of the warmest, kindest, cleanest and joyful place we have ever stayed. The hosts are full of life and life tales, they make you feel so much at home and treat you like one of their friends from the second they meet you. We stayed at the Hotel Perla for two days while we attended the nearby Mindya Rock Fest. The hotel is located on a quiet side street just off a main thoroughfare. It is a short walk into the city center, where you can find restaurants, cafes, shopping, etc. The family who owns and operates the hotel is absolutely lovely and are very attentive to the needs of the guests. The homemade breakfasts were perfect. Our room was large and well appointed, with a nice bathroom and shower and very comfortable bed. The kitchen facilities were first rate. All in all a 10 of 10!

There was no breakfast. No food available at the hotel but within a short walking distance. The hotel is outside the city and bordered with a large forest with walking trails and nearby monestary. I enjoyed the natural surroundings and quietness of the hotel. Walking to the restaurant, there is a large park on the way to town center.

Very cozy place to stay near Veliko Trnovo. We stayed a night on our way to Greece. The home owners are really kind - upon our departure we received a gift in the form of an absolutely delicious fig marmelade. The rooms, bathrooms were clean. The garden in the back gives it a cozy rural feel. You can park your car within the property.
