The food and the people there are worth a trip to Itacare. For tours, you have only two options, in my opinion - Dona (Sra.) Cida, a 74 years old lady who will show you the beauties of Itacare beaches and forests. It's a fake district that is so fake as a cinematographyc place. Fleed away from Itacaré. Go to Barra Grande taking a boat from CAMAMU.
