I was very impressed with how well maintained this hotel is. I know how hard the salt air and humidity is on buildings, Hotel Costeiro is not fancy but they have taken care to give this hotel character through the local art on the walls and the old time Olinda furniture in the halls. Breakfast was good and they made some of the best tapioca I've had.

The breakfast was excellent! As were all of the meals in the restaurant there. The staff was super friendly and kind, from Robson at the front desk to Marta who took care of our suite!

Breakfast is great, rooms are ok, staff was nice and it is walking distance to Olinda's historical center. The beds were comfortable. It is an ok place to stay during carnival, but for the price, I would try to book something better a bit earlier next time. Wifi ok.
