I loved the fire pit, the Jacuzzi, and the expansive backyard. I was travelling with a special-needs companion, and they enjoyed the quiet, the nature, and the ease of getting around. The property is well-maintained, and the river behind it is gorgeous.

It is an adorable little cottage on a lovely piece of property overlooking the river. Unfortunately for us we were having a torrential downpour and didn’t get to enjoy what this property had to offer.

We had come for a specific purpose: to celebrate a birthday.

We had come for a specific purpose: to celebrate a birthday. The town was easy to navigate; parking a the waterfront at a premium, but easy parking about a block away. Black Forest restaurant was great: excellent food, servers willing to talk and answer questions and even crack a joke or two. Certainly a happy memorable birthday celebration.
