Travelled with 5 motorcycles terrified they would be damaged or stolen if we had stayed at this place. Contact person was not at location, in the apartment we were directed to go to through owner on booking.com site - Owners have refused to respond or refund. Drug addicts everywhere, later found out this apartment complex is considered the slums of blind river and very dangerous at night.

Blind River is a small town on Hwy 17 between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie and a very nice place to visit. My mom and I spent 5 days here and explored the other towns including Elliott Lake, Massey, Spanish, Thessalon, Bruce Mines and St. Joseph Island. The fort which is the main reason to visit is closed on MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS!!!. Blind River has some nice shops and restaurants and the people are very friendly. You can access the beach on Lake Huron which is sandy. There are many lakes and rivers and hiking trails to explore if you have transportation. I would go again but stay somewhere else for sure. There are many motels along the highway.

I am from the north and since my hometown is just 30 minutes NW of Blind River, I already knew my way around. The town has everything a person could want or expect in a smaller community. I would definitely recommend that those on any type of vacation give Blind River and the entire north shore area a chance to prove how welcoming they can and usually are to everyone visiting the area. One tidbit that may be of some importance to certain drivers, when the speed limit says 60 DO 60 because the OPP are on the outlook for speeders as they should be :)

    We were just passing through.

We were just passing through. Stayed one night at Eldo Auberge Inn. Shopped at the local grocery store to buy stuff for packing a lunch and got take out for dinner at the 24 hour A&W. It was COVID Summer 2020, so not much was open, but everyone we encountered in town was friendly, helpful and respecting the COVID safety protocols.

We stayed 10 minutes. Drugs and drug use everywhere.

We stayed 10 minutes. Drugs and drug use everywhere. Garbage all over the place. Room not sanitized at all as dirty towels on bathroom floor and no social distancing at all by property manager who had to come in and check all rooms to see if the power was on. I called the head office man who didn't get back to.me for 11 days and only after I called him. He said nothing can be done and he invited me to pursue it further as they have a legal department ready to go.

Great little motel along the highway. Walking distance to "downtown" Blind River. Right beside the beer store. Quiet little grassy yard around back. Very clean. Free ice bags. Nice staff. Great bathrooms. My wife and i have stayed in many small motels across Ontario, this ranks near the top.

The room was clean and bright. Nice to have coffee maker in room and cookies and water bottles too. Very quiet - even though near the highway. Bathroom was spotless with a lovely window with blinds that let in the beautiful sunshine in the a.m. A lovely stay-

The room was spotless, very clean. Simple room. Perfect for a night's stay as you travel through. They think of the travelers. Friendly staff. One of the best stays in the area. We stay here whenever we are traveling through Blind River/Iron Bridge.

The location was just in the middle between Toronto and Neys Provincial Park which was our destination and is perfect for us. Everything was good for one night stay. Nice view from the balcony especially at sunrise.

The hotel staff were super friendly. The food and waitstaff service at the restaurant were excellent. I had the beet salad and fish & chips. The waitress went out of her way to deliver our takeout to our room!

It’s an old motel but the room we had was newly remodeled. Much nicer than most motels in the area because of that. The attached restaurant was great! Good food and nice people!

A friend of a tenant warned us of the dangers at the building and suggested a couple motels in town to stay at instead.
