The owner is amazing, very welcoming and helpful. She made absolutely fantastic croissants, chocolatines and crepes with honey for breakfast, this alone would justify our stay there. She also sent us useful tip regarding Foresta Lumina, methods of payment in advance. The location is very nice too, it's quiet and easy to access. The price is reasonable.

Auberge Le Tricorne, hotel in Coaticook

Located in North Hatley, 24 miles from Foresta Lumina, Auberge Le Tricorne provides accommodations with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. This 3-star hotel offers free WiFi.

We chose the Auberge Tricorne for the location as we wanted a quiet place to view the eclipse. It was perfect and we could not have chosen a better place. A few kilometres from village of North Hatley, we had a great view from a hill overlooking Lake Masawippi. The hosts Carl and Carole were so friendly and made us feel at home. The breakfasts were top-notch and served in a very nice breakfast room. We chose just the basic standard room but it was fine for our purpose.

We visited an alpaca farm named Libby Mill not far from Coaticook it was a lot of fun. The Baulne museum was very interesting and the people working there really sweet. We ate at the microbrasserie Coaticook the food was really good and we had a very good service.

We went to Coaticook for the Foresta Lumina, and we are so glad we did. It's a beautiful and technologically sophisticated work of art and imagination that dazzles. The park itself seems wonderful too, and I'd love to return for camping.

The area is somewhat rural but we were attending an event in the town. Dinner and service at The Place restaurant was terrible. The downtown is a bit seedy and businesses have left; it didn't seem entirely safe. Musical street lanterns are lovely. Foresta Lumina was a good experience and the shuttle was convenient and on time. We also liked La Diperie ice cream, though it is a bit expensive.

Coaticook is a very nice small town.

Coaticook is a very nice small town. There were good attractions and lots of shops downtown. Language can be a little bit of a barrier as most people speak French there. I’ve been to Coaticook twice and would love to go again.

Beautiful town with The Gorge 5 min away.

Beautiful town with The Gorge 5 min away. We went to Foesta Luminata. Very well organized and beautifully displayed light with a about a mile hike set to music. Fantastic for all ages. The folks there even helped the grandparents move along. Coaticook had great food. People were very very pleasant.
