love everything about our stay except that we had no power on day 1 due to our neighbours breaking the breaker. The tents are not equipped with warm comforters which is fine in the shoulder season if you have the heater on but otherwise freezing.

It was a great short vacation as a first timer at the Sunshine coast with my daughter Shania before she start her university. We feel welcomed and safe when we arrived at Martha and Jack’s guest house… We are satisfied with everything, very accommodating couple, very clean room and what I love the most is the quiet nature overlooking lake from our balcony when we wake up in the morning .. we visited all the places in our list with the help of Martha giving us ideas. She’s been serving us with her freshly baked goodies too. Thank you both for your kindness! We are looking forward to see the beauty of winter at the coast and for sure will stay at Jack and Martha’s property !! ❤️ was relaxed and enjoyed! Polym & Shania ❤️

Good place for families if you do not need any services (eating out etc.) as everything closes by 7pm, and on weekdays many restaurants are not opened. Otherwise nice views but then we have lots elsewhere with more competitive hotel prices.

Very isolated location, closest shopping/dining in Madeira Park, 25 minutes away on very twisty, very dark roads. Pretty lakes and ocean beaches nearby and Provincial Park but not much else. 3-4 days plenty to see all.

Very windy and narrow road, without shoulders and therefore unsuitable for walks. The next grocery store, in Madeira Park, was about 7-8 km away and it seems to close early in the evenings, that is both days it was closed by 7 pm. Better be stocked up.

Lovely spot to do a lot of outdoor activities Lakes are good spots for swimming and picnics The hiking trails are good for a novice or more adventurous. Just a perfect gateway to adventures and relaxation.

Marta & Jack were very welcoming. Marta is an amazing host. Our accommodation was excellent. Their home is serenely perched overlooking Garden Bay Lake. We loved a tour of Jack's studio and gallery as well. Jack is creating truly beautiful bronze sculptures.

Every corner is clean and tidy, and I think it was a great place to bring women and children. A detailed explanation of the equipment used was also helpful. It felt like staying in a hotel.
