Cute little village reachable only by passenger-only ferry (20 minute ride and about $1.50 per person) so unique experience. We did a great hike to Piccare. Friendly people. There aren't any stores so it's really about getting away to a relaxing place with so much beauty. The Gaultois Inn was very comfortable, with very good meals-very accommodating and aimed to please. ATV picks you up at the dock to take you the short distance to the Inn or you can walk on the boardwalk. Bring a good book and good hiking boots and adjust to a different pace of life.
