Beautiful manor with breathtaking views. The Manor is always superbly clean, and the staff are always cordial and helpful. The room we reserved had views of the river, and it did not disappoint. We ate a few times at the manor, and each time, it was delicious. I highly suggest taking in the weekend brunch. The activities available locally and on grounds are vast and fun and for all ages. Our first time in the Malbaie region and it was a blast. It's a pet friendly hotel as well, so bring your furry family members.

La Malbaie is a beautiful destination with historic buildings. The Fairmont is spectacular. Scenery is incredible. Would highly recommend. We do not speak French but that was not an issue anywhere we went. It is very easy to get around with a lovely walkway along the St Lawrence

La Malbaie is a very nice little city.
La Malbaie is a very nice little city. It's not commercialized like the big cities. We see nature everywhere we go. Mountains, lakes, river we see all of them. The route 138 is fantastic with a lot of interesting places to see.
We would recommend the trip to our friends and probably we will plan to come back. We love Quebec!

The staffs in reception are nice and professional but the staffs in its restaurant are horrible! We didnt see we are welcomed with their attitude. They insisted to set up our table in a urgly corner and far from western family in table with river view.
The suite we booked cost 900CAD/night and they offered us a room in the corner of the first floor without any view except the messy sidewalk/yard. The room service is not good, 3.5h waiting for their bringing towel and blanket.

La Malbaie is a great point from which to explore further. We went to Tadoussac in an easy day trip from here. We were able to walk to supper in the main dining area which was a nice option. There are lots of restaurants to chose from.

La Malbaie is just a wonderful place.
La Malbaie is just a wonderful place. The views are absolutely beautiful. The local eateries are great and even though we do not speak French the people are very helpful. It really is a piece of heaven.
Hostess was amazing. Very genuine and traditional Québec home with wrap-around porch, view of the river - great for morning coffee and breakfast (eggs Benedict). Very clean. In addition to roooms, common area space to sit, watch TV, store items in fridge etc.after a day of exploring. Extra treat of two recently born bulldogs (3 months - VERY cute). Hostess brought out telescope at night so we could take full advantage of the full moon.
We liked the location & the grounds of the hotel. The view of the St. Lawrence River was magnificent. The room we stayed in was big as we paid extra to upgrade to a bigger room & even though it was on the first floor we still got a great view of the grounds & the river.
We like so many things about the hotel: the view from room and balcony and especially that from the restaurant is marvelous and serene; the location of the hotel on a little hill; the breakfast buffet; the fireplace ready to use, the spa tube and outdoor spa.
clean & comfortable; has a kitchenette incl dishes, utensils, microwave & fridge; convenient location; access to gym (at main hotel), balcony, friendly & courteous staff who were very accommodating, spectacular scenery around
The room was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The building was charming. I appreciated that breakfast was included. It was a few minutes outside of La Malbaie but I didn’t see this as a problem.
Convenient location near restaurants, bus stop for bus to Quebec City, shops. Overlooks the river. Spacious rooms with mini fridges. Lots of outlets, and a USB station on the nightstand. The staff are very nice.
Nice clean hotel/motel much better than most of motels I've ever been. Room is big and comfortable. Beds are comfortable. There is a table with chairs which makes your breakfast or other meals nice.
The hotel is located centrally. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything was just perfect! The girl in the reception was very helpful 👌 I would recommend this little hotel to everyone.
Location of hotel within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Very comfortable bed and good continental breakfast served to your room the next morning.
