Breakfast was not included, but the kitchen was well stocked with necessary utensils, dishes, pots, and other materials for cooking. Best we'd seen yet.

We had a phenomenal stay at this beautiful historic inn. The room was lovely and very cozy, resulting in 2 nights of very good sleep. Lisa, The hostess made 2 different creative and filling. Lisa gave up very good touring sites advice. Would stay here again with no hesitation. Recommend this inn very highly to others.

Lunenberg, of course, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but there's almost nothing to see here. The downtown is a single street a few blocks long with a couple of mostly-empty side streets. One picture, and you are ready to move on.

Beautiful place. A must see destination.
Beautiful place. A must see destination. We only had one night and should have stayed longer. Lots of places to see. Lots of places to eat but it’s busy with tourists. We went a little off the beaten track away from the sea front and found some less busy eateries.

The most interesting item was the Fisheries Museum.
The most interesting item was the Fisheries Museum. Most of the restaurant served fried foods but we ate at The Lincoln Street Food Store which was very good. We found that the restaurants were expensive for the type of food they offered. To get around in Lunenburg was fairly easy, there are a lot of hills. I think that if we made another trip to Lunenburg we would try to get into the Art Galleries, most were closed when we were there. We would avoid most of the restaurants and try to find one that didn't serve only fried foods.

Loved this town!
Loved this town! Seeing and walking aboard the Bluenose II was great. Took the haunted tour - highly recommend. Great shopping for souvenirs but also for local artist's work. Hope to visit again!

Our visit to Lunenbur greatg was at the end of an 11 day tour of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. We definitely saved the best for last. Would have liked to have had one more day in Lunenburg. All of the restaurants were great. we ate at the Half Shell Oysters, The South Shore Fish Shack and the Smoke Pitt BBQ. Just wanderin up and down the dock side and through town looking at all the different houses was entertaining.
Hurricane Lee passed through the previous day, and the Inn was without power when we checked in. It was estimated that power would be restored by 11pm. Luckily, the power came back on just after sunset, which was better than expected. The innkeeper was very pleasant and had everything ready for our arrival despite the lack of power. Lunenburg is a very nice little town on the water. In hindsight, we wish we had been able to stay a second night to enjoy the inn and the town.
Such a lovely historic house. The perfect location, right in the centre of Lunenburg, old town & the shops! Very spacious rooms, beautifully redone, with modern furniture, a spacious bathroom & a great kitchette. Nice big breakfast downstairs. Could have stayed a third day, as there is so many things to do in this area.
Lovely B&B. Our large room was beautiful and comfortable. The spa bath was a treat. Breakfast was elegant, generous and delicious. We enjoyed breakfast with other guests but also had privacy. Lovely grounds, walkable to downtown Lunenburg. On-site parking. Use of veranda and living room.
Beautiful 143 year old building overlooking Lunenburg Harbor. We stayed in room 4, overlooking the harbor. The room and the bath are large. The floors are original wide plank pine. Air conditioning worked well. A home cooked breakfast was cooked for us each morning.
The motel was a great stay and I’d recommend it for anyone traveling to Lunenburg. The staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. The rooms were a bit dated but thats to be expected in this old fishing town.
Great stay overall.
Did not come with breakfast. Location was excellent. The Grand Banker restaurant at the hotel was great. Staff excellent as was the food. The hotel itself, rooms in particular were "tired". It was, however, quiet.
This hotel is very well located and within walking distance to shops and restaurants in Lunenburg. The staff were very responsive to our requests. Free parking across the street was a huge bonus.
