This was our first time experience for camping and what we expected. It has good facilities like washroom, outhouse, washing stations, bed linen and electric outlets. This help us to manage our kids and keep them safe from bugs. Cabins give good sleep and protect kids from bugs and wild animals. This was memorable camping experience. Now kids wants to go camping every year. If I could have book more cabins then two more families could join us.

The camping Cabins are truly amazing! A glamping experience at its finest! We really enjoyed the scenic outdoors from our cabin patio with beautiful views of the woods under a full canopy of trees! Each cabin has thier own portable washroom, equipped with extra toilet paper, an air freshener and hand sanitizer and we are always so impressed with how clean they are!! Each space also includes a charcoal bbq, dining table with 2 chairs and a firepit. Inside the cabin theres a mini fridge dressers and extra electrical outlets, which came in super useful! We loved being surrounded in windows, especially in the morning waking up to the beautiful views and sounds of the woods. We brought friends with us this time, they stayed in the cabin next to ours for a few nights and they didnt want to leave! We went to the restaurant for 2 dinners they were both great, we LOVE the sausage and perogies! Yum yum! I could go on and on about how much we love this place, we will definately be returning as soon as we can! Thank you Stephane and Cynthia for being amazing hosts and always making our stay extra special, we look forward to seeing you when we return!

We loved the hosts and accommodations. The secluded location was very quiet and relaxing. We had to drive a little to find things to do (eg beaches) but we didn't mind at all. There are trails on site that we did not get a chance to experience; I suspect they would be fun to explore. Good value for a nice vacation - we will return.

Loved the lodge. The rustic atmosphere was welcoming as were the owners. The pool table and dartboard helped escape the bugs late at night. The breakfast was delicious and they even had glutenfree bread. We will definitely be going back in the near future

I was there to visit Algonquin park which was about a 40 minute drive. Nothing in Madawaska and not much more in Whitney. 30 minutes east for a larger town--Barry's Bay, which has much more and worth the drive of 28 KM. Car wash, hardware store, ice cream store and restaurants.
