Due to COVID mandates, the town lacks staff at the tourist information centre. Canada Day fireworks were scheduled for July 2nd, after we went back home. Businesses and restaurants closed early, so we had to scramble to find dinner on July 1st. Apparently, Madoc offered live music and fireworks on July 1st, which we found out on July 2nd. Dhoy!!! Marmora needs to improve its tourism marketing to support their local businesses and attract more guest stays.
