Mindemoya is a nice place and basically in the centre of Manitoulin Island so other towns were relatively close. There was a great restaurant next to the Manitoulin Inn that we ate at. The only downfall was that it was pretty much the only restaurant in town. Too bad there weren't more places to eat and nowhere to get breakfast!

Excellent value for the money and better than expected given the off-the-beaten track location. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. There were enough electric outlets in sensible locations. The air-conditioning was easy to operate and sufficiently powered for the room. Towels and linens were clean and supplied in sufficient quantity. We LOVED that there was enough coffee for a second little pot to make a coffee for the road on our way. On a drive across country where we stayed at 12 different roadside motels this was the best.

The motel is very nice. It is in a great location.

The motel is very nice. It is in a great location. The customer service was terrible. We complained about a wasp nest outside our door and the employee /owner laughed about it and did nothing to remove it. I am allergic to certain insect bites. Then, a few men on motorcycles showed up next to our room and began drinking and partying outside. We could not call front desk as it was not an option on the phone so I found the number to call and complain, but got no answer: just voice mail, again, nothing done about it. They stopped partying around 12:30 am: we did not sleep well because of that. We are very disappointed in the lack of customer service. We were looking forward to a quiet night for sleeping.

Great rooms. Geese and sandhill cranes flying by.

Great rooms. Geese and sandhill cranes flying by. Out in farm field, very quiet. Definitely not for anyone looking for night life, but very restful. Great couples getaway. Very friendly and helpful hostess. Lake two minute or less drive and other beaches within 15 minutes. . Very little traffic. Good breakfast.

    Mindemoya was fine.

Mindemoya was fine. We didn’t know anything about the town or island for that matter and needed a place to stay. We found the Manitoulin hotel in Mindemoya on the internet. It worked out well. We drove all around the area and to Little Current too. We ate at Grill and Chill and had a delicious meal. Friendly staff. It was right beside the hotel. Enjoyed a cute gift shop on Hwy 551 across from Foodland.

This quaint little country motor inn is centrally located in the interior of Manitoulin Island. The room was very clean and modern with a nice little kitchenette. The WiFi was excellent. The staff was very friendly. It was very easy to find. It’s located about 30 minutes from the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry terminal in South Baymouth. Overall, a very nice place to rest your head on your road trip Up North. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you!

This is a simple but nice motel well located for visiting sites on the Island. Just on the edge of Mindemoya, and 40 minutes from the ferry. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a large fridge, microwave and coffee pot. Next door is a take-out restaurant with picnic tables - very handy during the pandemic. The manager was very helpful whenever we had questions.

Breakfast was very nice (French Toast, real Maple Syrup), much of what was on the menu was locally sourced. Leslie was a most attentive host and she provided us with numerous ideas of things to do on Manitoulin Island, all of which turned out to be great. She loves her property and her surroundings, and it shows clearly. This is a first-rate B&B

Large well appointed and very comfortable rooms. The beds just put you to sleep after a day of trekking the many trails Manitoulin Island has to offer. A very tasty and fulsome breakfast. Leslie was extremely helpful and provided us with lots of information for sightseeing.

The Room was comfortable and a good size and very clean. The toilet was very small. It reminded me of a daycare toilet. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a beautiful setting. Unfortunately there is only 1 restaurant nearby and it didn't serve breakfast.

Great location. In walking distance to a beautiful lake and the town centre of Mindemoya. There is a nice restaurant right beside the motel. The inn is very clean and our room was comfy and spacious. There are some seating areas outside to enjoy.

Staffs are nice and offered a map to show us all the attractions around the area. The room has lots of space and decent size bed. Hotel is basic but clean and we had a good night sleep.

Our first visit to Manitoulin and booked this place due to previous reviews. It was nice and clean. Comfy bed. It is off-season, so not many other visitors. I would stay here again.
