I liked the restaurant we ate supper at ( can't remember but it was a top rated steak house) as well as Fiftys diner for brunch.
We went along the beautiful beach walkway.
People were very friendly and helpful.
The streets are easy to navigate. We had fun at the casino but became lost after exiting...ending up in Corbeil but found our way to Hwy 17 and got back to the hotel fairly easily. The hotel stay was pleasant.

cute town, if you're looking for snow and want to XC-Ski then there are multiple options. Lots of accommodation and some good food choices. Not sure what it's like in summer but i imagine lake Nipissing makes for a great summer spot.

The cabin was amazing.
The cabin was amazing.
Cozy, comfortable, clean and overall just so relaxing.
It’s been nicely updated, well kept and offers a very quiet and peaceful experience despite being on the main road. The placement of the rooms blocks out most sound and noise from the road and rooms are well insulated which also helps block out any outside noises.
The staff were wonderful. Polite, reasonable, very friendly and eager to help in any way they can.
Overall the experience was much better than we had expected for the price point, and we would absolutely go again.
Definitely a lovely little place to relax for the weekend!

Love this panoramic city!
Love this panoramic city! It's surrounded by water & beaches & comforts of a big city. It's beach front parks are priceless! The Chief Commanda Restaurant at the waterfront has wonderful ambiance & tasty food.
Not far is the town of Mattawa that is lovely & has a great ski hill!
North Bay has a fun night life too!
It's easy to get around & I will visit again.
Duchesnay falls offers up a picturesque hike.

North Bay is a charming town.
North Bay is a charming town. Be careful where you get lodging, though, because some places misrepresent their access to the beach. I was there at the very end if the season, and the price if my non-beach motel was too high.
Every Friday, there is a very dood dinner at the Legion Hall near Callander, which is open to the public. Excellent steak the night I was there for $22CDN (Not the one in North Bay.) Not very friendly people, though.

Nice lakefront city with quite a history of Ontario northern railroading. The lake is impressive and must have been quite a challenge to cross by canoe. I would treat it with lots of respect.
Nice sandy beaches strewn with the usual beach debris (should be cleaned more often by city).
Stay a few days as there are lots of sights to see around North Bay.
Nice hotel--clean, quiet, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms. Good kitchen with dinnerware, silverware, pots and pans, etc. Good breakfast included, and one of the nicer exercise rooms we've had in our month-long trip across Eastern Canada. Hotel is situated on one of the many connecting bike paths through town. Nice farmer's market 10-minute walk (max). Very helpful and friendly staff, from the front desk, to the breakfast crew, to housekeeping.
Parking lot, first impression of the hotel, was a dump site of broken furniture. It looked that bad we didn’t even get out of the car. Cancelled on the spot and had a lovely stay a couple of blocks away in the Homewood Suites by Hilton. Only marginally more cost. This property not good value for money at all.
The facility is close to everything, reasonably clean, the room we stayed in was spacious and comfortable. They even served a hot breakfast, just basic potatoes, sausage and eggs but it was a surprise to us. We stayed in North Bay for just one night, we will stay here again if we are coming back this way.
We stay at the Sunset Inn everytime we have an overnighter in North Bay- unless they're booked up already. EVERY hotel should be like the Sunset Inn: clean, spacious, great hosts, welcoming, I could go on and on.
Can't recommend the Sunset Inn enough!
Helpfull and friendly staff.
Well appointed room, with everything working. Including an electric kettle :)
Could walk to good restaurants and a bar.
North Bay centre was a few minutes drive away.
Parking was in front of my room.
The breakfast was good. It could have been better. There weren't enough fruits. No bananas, cantaloupe, grapes, etc.
Room was adequate for my needs.
Location was too far away from where I did most of my visit in North bay.
Friendly staff who were able to accommodate a last minute upgrade of the room. The room was very clean and extremely comfortable. Check out was a breeze. The hotel is walking distance to shopping, restaurants and coffeeshop.
Great value. We were only there for one night but it was just what we needed. Comfortable, quiet, clean, and a short walk to one of the best beaches in North Bay. Highly recommended.
The breakfast was surprisingly generous in what food was offered. The room and the rest of the building was clean. The location of the hotel made it very quiet (no major traffic).
The hotel and the room were very clean. I also liked that it had a mini fridge and microwave. And the breakfast is always a nice touch! I always enjoy staying at a Hampton Hotel.
Awesome hotel clean, new and spacious rooms. We had a suite and it really matched our expectation. Friendly staff showing hospitality. I really recommend staying there.
I have always loved coming here … repeat customer since I was in college in north bay, 25 years ago.. it’s one floor, and has a modern, but homey feel to it.
