The location was great related to where we needed to be but...
The location was great related to where we needed to be but there were far too many issues. Essentially on the surface, the Riverrock seems nice enough but the staff appears not to care. We had issues with the internet and TV only working intermittently. The door lock was glitchy, the window, once opened, would not close, no hot water and the breakfast was extremely basic. Unfortunately, it's the only hotel in the area.linseyMexico - 10Scored 10
I loved Rockland for the fact that it is close to the Ottawa...
I loved Rockland for the fact that it is close to the Ottawa River and close to the city for travelling. Nice parks near the river where you can picnic and walk along the marina. It is much quieter than the city, clean as well, and all services I needed were in the town. At this time of year (end of August) all the fresh markets were open. Everyone was friendly and helpful and happy people! There are a few places to visit close to Rockland however, with Covid they were closed. Still, one can just relax and walk on the main street and or by the water with family and friends.JacquelineCanada
