We had a stunning view of the glaciers and all the furniture was so comfortable. The location is quite literally unbeatable by about 100 miles - there is nothing else in the vicinity! You'd have to drive over an hour in either direction to reach something else. The views are stunning and it makes perfect sense to book here for the Rockies trip as this location sits between Banff and Jasper - right at the centre!! It did help a lot that we arrived on a sunny day. Staying here puts you at the perfect spot for an excursion up the glacier and the Skywalk. They serve complementary delicatessen and cheese boards in the common area for the guests. There is only one restaurant in the hotel (and in the surroundings) and it is pretty good considering you are in the middle of nowhere.

Every afternoon from 5 to 7 the hotel is arranging a welcome cocktail with all kinds of cheese and cold meats which is great.
