Friendly and helpful staff - the 2 ladies on reception on day of our arrival (Isobel & Jean?) were very knowledgeable of the area which helped us immensely. Plenty of parking space. Free tea and coffee in reception. Breakfast basic but fine. Room comfortable.

Timmins is a norther mining town which is somewhat rustic and showing it’s age. The people, however are good, strong northern folks that continue on with their lives energetically and with high ambition. The politicians to the south are felt to be ignoring them except for election time whereupon they arrive full of promise and shallow interest. All northern folks have strong character and will survive the indifference from the southern dream spinners.

In Timmins for eye surgery and follow-up the next day so we didn't go anywhere else except for food and gas. Hotel was short distance from Hospital :) Casey's was conveniently next door to hotel. Food was average-fries were floppy but gravy was good. Coleslaw was excellent and fresh :)

The restaurants were very good.
The restaurants were very good. I liked Dons pizza and the fish bowl. We went to a nature reserve and got to feed the animals there. We went to a mini golf course and it was pretty fun. when we were in Timmins we went up to a polar bear reserve in Cochrane and got to learn about the polar bears who lived there an to be around a foot away from one (Between 4 layers of bulletproof glass). Timmins was a a nice town in Northeast Ontario Canada.

My wife and 9 year old Granddaughter were on their yearly girls weekend. Shop shop shop. Ate at Boston Pizza which they truly enjoyed; located in front of the Hampton. That was a breach of behaviour for my Granddaughter who would eat at McDonalds 5 times a day. A&W is good. The one on the main street is better than the one at the mall for some reason. My wife lured her there with root beer.
I was very pleasantly surprised with the excellent breakfasts. Far better than the continental breakfasts served at many other hotels. The room and amenities were very good. Fridge kept cold, microwave worked, did not use the coffee, as the pot was too small for four. Surprised to see an ironing board with no iron, however, many do not use irons any more anyway. Thank you for upgrading to queen size beds, supposedly at no extra charge. Enjoyed my return to my hometown of SCHUMACHER! All Staff were pleasant and very accommodating.
The staff was attentive. We reported a problem in the room and it was repaired quite promptly. The room had exceptional lighting, over and beyond what is found in most hotels. The room was quite soundproof. Cleanliness was noted throughout the building.
We have stayed at a few places in Timmins and by far this was the best! Excellent value for the money. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend Hampton Inn!
The hotel still looks very new and has a bright modern style. We really liked the quieter location next to green space and and ample parking. The generous breakfast buffet included made-to-order omelettes made by very friendly staff.
I would have loved real cream for the coffee in the breakfast room. But the food was awesome. All staff I encountered were wonderful. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I will book here again when in Timmins.
Friendly Staff and Welcoming. Very clean and well-maintained property, more about quality than quantity of the dollar, I prefer this hotel over any other hotel on Riverside/Algonquin.
Good location, the house was clean and had everything I required. Not a 5 star hotel but its nice. Close to all amenities. Close proximity to the lake made for a nice place to walk.
This is one of the best breakfast we have eaten at a stayed motel. This the main reason we stay at the Hamptons. We stayed in Sudbury and Timmins for this reason.
Amazing location, amazing customer service, clean and well kept rooms. Exceeded my expectations. This will definately be my go-to place to stay in Timmins.
