Person working the front desk appeared to be a doing a double shift and it showed. She appeared to be bothered by our questions, did not respond well to small talk and when checking out the amount billed did not reflect the reservation. Unable to provide a detailed breakdown, receipt due to system errors and simply told us to leave. My boys are bilingual so the issue was not due to language barrier and were surprised by the rudeness.

I was there for a 4-day business trip and only spent evenings in the hotel.
Had 2 evening meals in the restaurant; enjoyable. Friendly staff.
The two elevators need to be refurbished with new flooring. Worn carpets with gum-stains give a poor impression of the hotel.

Central Location
Thoughtful and tasteful renovation with the modern conveniences included (USB chargers by each bed!)....they have also worked hard to preserve the architecture and display the history of the area. My kids kept saying that this was the nicest hotel!
Lovely restoration of the former Montreal Cotton factory. Location in downtown Valleyfield near the bay allows strolling on the curated waterfront property and gazing across the bay. Lots if bike lanes. King Room had a great view. Sweet little bathroom with nice toiletries. Wonderful restaurant Meraki inside.
