Location is beautiful - awesome views in all directions. The apartment is super comfortable - we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and relaxing in the living room. Host Sonja is soooo friendly and welcoming. She went out of her way to provide exceptional service and extra touches. The parking spot in the underground garage was terrific. In my opinion, Brunnen is the perfect place to experience Lake Lucerne - the mountains are magnificent on the north and east ends of the Lake. And the city of Lucerne is only 30 minutes away.
B&B Hotel Mattli Übernachtung Frühstück offers accommodations with a restaurant, free private parking, shared lounge, a garden and a fantastic view of the lake and mountains.

Breathtaking view…… And the hotel had concentrated on small details like putting a mesh for the windows to keep flies and mosquitoes away. Comfortable double bed. Easy and free vehicle parking.

Location was near the bus stop in the center of town - but not near the train station. The bus was easy to take though. Staff was super accommodating and the breakfast was delicious! It is a small town but was easy to get around with the bus to the different hikes I wanted to do nearby.
Caschu Alp Boutique Design Hotel can be found right in the heart of the car-free village of Stoos ob Schwyz at 4265 feet above sea level, next to ski slopes and hiking paths.

Brunnen is a unique and beautiful large village/small town at the part of Lake Lucerne which becomes the Urnersee. The view to the lake presents one of the most magical views anywhere in the world. Fjord-like mountains come down to the lake at its most narrow part. Whether in brilliant sunshine or grey and misty, the view is fabulous. I have been coming to Brunnen for many decades, ever since I was a child. This particular view remains always in my memory.

There are million things to do and see in Brunnen and the area around, especially for nature and sport lovers. And for historians: visit Ruetli (cradle of Switzerland), William Tell museum and statue etc. Eat well, sleep nice.

Brunnen is one of the nice area in Switzerland.
Brunnen is one of the nice area in Switzerland. You can connect to many hiking route and cable/funicular car and so forth. View is so beautiful. A lot nice restaurants in the area, so great to have dinned along the lake, nice weather and view. Walking along the shore is also a great chill time spending here.

Brunnen is a lovely town with lots of walking/boat trips nearby. Haus Eleisa is very comfortably furnished, very clean, has a nice balcony and good bathroom. No cooking facilities but fridge + tea/coffee making facilities/microwave. Quiet location and lovely garden next to river which guests can use. Great value - much more space than a hotel and much cheaper. Elizabeth herself unfortunately was not there but her family and friend looked after us very well.
We had a room with a nice size balcony with a gorgeous view facing Lake Lucerne and the mountains. Our room was very comfortable...well appointed, including complimentary drinks & chocolate in the bar fridge. Hotel was very close to Lake Lucerne. Staff was courteous & friendly and we had enjoyable conversations with several. Very walkable to local restaurants, town, ferry pier, etc. Really no complaints. Would definitely come back.
The hotel was at a nice location. Breakfast was also good with many options. The room was clean and seemed that it was recently redecorated. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed etc. It was a bit strange to have the toilet and the shower in separate rooms.. Staff at the breakfast area was really friendly
A small hotel in the best location, surrounded by coffee shops and very close to the lake. The room had a lake view with a great breeze. Breakfast was very good and the staff was very nice and helpful.
The apartment itself was very large 2 rooms and a living room.
Location is great, is the nicest of the four hotels in Brunnen I have stayed at. Breakfast was also better than the other hotels. The free mini-freight with drinks and a few treats was appreciated as well as the free fruit available all day.
If you’re looking for a very classic B&B minus the breakfast part you got it. Cute property, dated, but location is perfect, if places are open. It was the start of the off season though. Brunnen is such a beautiful little town.
The view from my room was incredible. The hotel is large, and they offer a great spa and a nice bar. You can eat inside or by the lake. The staff was nice and they offer free bicycles and parking. Great breakfast!
Lovely views once the mist had cleared and the sun came out. Excellent sauna area. Pity there was no indoor private pool at the hotel; that would have been perfect. Very good breakfast with helpful staff.
The location is one of the most beautiful places on earth and the hotel is fantastic especially if you book a lake view room. The staff were lovely, overall a magical experience
